Velma Coontz Massage Therapy

Velma has been my only source of pain relief after trying countless Dr's, Chiro's, AK, medications, physical therapy, water therapy, decompression therapy, epidurals, etc, etc. Nothing else worked and some made things worse. Thank the good Lord for Velma!! She is a massage therapist in every sense of the word! I've made my rounds with several so-called massage therapists as well, and mostly I wished I hadn't. Believe me, you will not be sorry visiting here.

Velma is the best; she has a special gift; if you went and tried her, you would definitely stay with her. She does not treat you like a number. She is very caring/kind, and goes out of her way to be sure your aches/muscles have been alleviated before you go. You feel so good/relaxed afterwards that you do not want to leave. To tell you the truth, you feel like you have been on a vacation. I felt that way. She is very knowledgeable, and has given me helpful tips that I am able to do at home. I can't wait to go back. I have had massages from a few different places in the past and Velma is far above all the rest. She really has found her gift, she is great at working out those stubborn pain areas. What I really like is that she really cares about you when you are getting a massage, she will ask if you need more or less pressure and she determines what areas need more attention than others. I am amazed at the strength she uses when it is needed. If I were you, I would not go anywhere else for a massage because Velma is the best.

Velma did a great job. She explained what she was doing and how I could work some of the muscles myself and she relaxed me so much that I was ready to take a nap. AND she helped the serious back pain I had been having for weeks. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Velma was amazing. I have had massages before and they were just ok, nothing to brag about, but this one by her personally was amazing.....She used the hot stones in the massage! I didn't want it to end. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Velma is an EXCELLENT massage therapist!!! I highly recommend her! She takes her time to ensure that your muscles get the attention that they need. I googled massage places in riverside california and after reading different reviews I decided to try Velma. I usually have sore shoulders so anyone massaging me felt good for the most part. I've been to other massage places before but after seeing Velma I realized how a real massage should feel! She is amazing at what she does!! She's very knowledgable and gives you do-it-yourself pointers for the times you don't come in to see her. I usually don't write reviews, but she was so nice and good at what she does that I think people really need to know! She's well worth it. -Cam.

Velma is the BEST! I have been blessed to experience many massages over the years, and can say that Velma is the very best therapist I have ever had! I first tired her services a few years ago when she worked at a different spa in Canyon Crest. Unfortunately, they closed and she had to find a different location to station her services at. She found a nice location on Brockton Ave, and now I can afford to get a massage more often! I had tried all the different "first time client" specials at other massage "stores", but never was able to receive the high quality of care and expertise that Velma offers "from head to toe". You're not just a number with Velma, she really cares about her clients and takes the time to work on stressed points to give you relief from pain, so you can leave feeling rejuvenated. Velma is fantastic! She gave me the best massage ever. She is also very knowledgeable about how to treat your own personal aches and pains. Not a fancy place like the pricey spas I've been to at the resorts, but definitely more friendly and personable. I'm sorry I don't visit Riverside more often, or I would be a regular!

I have been seeing Velma for going on two years now. I see her on a regular basis, usually once a week. I can't say enough good things about Velma's expertise - she is definitely a professional. Velma is a great massage therapist. She is the ultimate professional and has a broad base of knowledge about massage and related matters. She has been my massage therapist of choice for about six years. Unlike some massage therapists who seem to follow a road map (the same massage every time without regard to particular needs), Velma asks about special needs and concerns and then does her best to address whatever the issue(s) may be. Having been to many different massage therapists, I can say that Velma is among the very best and I highly recommend her!
