  • About Personal Best Salon and Utopia Day Spa

    Utopia Day Spa & Personal Best Salon is located in a rustic setting, in buildings that once housed Pembroke, Massachusetts' first schoolhouse and a 250-year-old barn. The complex is more than 9,000 square feet and incorporates the spa and salon and Bistro, the property's Mediterranean-inspired restaurant. There are ten treatment rooms as well as steam room and Vichy shower facilities. Services include massage, body treatments, facials, peels, makeup, eyelash extensions, manicures, pedicures, paraffin treatments, tanning, teeth whitening, and waxing with hair care available at the salon. One of the spa's signature treatments is the decadent Chocolate Body Polish, which includes a Swiss shower immersion and a chocolate shea butter massage. Clients can take cooking classes at the Bistro, which is available for gatherings and business meetings and bridal parties and groups.

I recently went to Personal Best on the recommendation of a friend. I had a spafinder gift certificate that my husband had given me over Christmas and I decided it was time to finally use it. I rarely get to treat myself, so I took advantage of a special I found on their website for a massage and facial for $99 (such a good deal!) and I added a haircut. Walking in the door the staff was very friendly, when I was greeted by my massage therapist I was taken to the second floor; the building is beautiful and very spacious, it feels like a labyrinth. All of my services were excellent and very affordable, I even bought some skincare products that I love. I will definitely be coming back!

I went to the Utopia for a much needed stress relief. I had a basic facial. My technician explained everything she was doing and using on my face. The neck and shoulder massage was an added bonus. Warm gloves over my moisturized hands was very relaxing. I was so relax and contented when I left. I am in need of another appointment soon!!

A wonderful, helpful staff that offers a relaxing atmosphere and great service. My stylist was very knowledgeable and professional and gave me a great new haircut and highlights. I left feeling uplifted and renewed.

My best friend and I visited Utopia and did the girls just wanna have fun package. It was very reasonably priced and included a massage facial pedicure and lunch. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. The staff was great and the food was amazing. It was everything my friend and I needed for a relaxing and blissful day. Will def. go back!
