I had several fibromas on my face and chin that I hated for years! Numerous Dermatologists told me to leave them alone saying the scars left behind would be worse than the fibromas. After seeing Eden Spa's web site and noticing that they offer a Lamprobe technique for skin care, I decided to make an appointment. The Spa has a very calming and soothing atmosphere. Lacey Kaczowka, the owner and a registered RN, is very knowledgeable in the field and answered all my questions. She put me at ease and has a wonderful bedside manner. As she treated each skin irregularity, she explained what she was doing and what was happening. All together she removed six!. As she said, they would scab up and fall off. It has been two weeks since my treatment and they are all gone. There is new skin where the fibromas were and now I am looking forward to further treatments for other skin conditions. Thank you Eden Spa!

I am, writing this note to personally thank the Spa for what it has done for me with just one session of Acupuncture treatment.Prior to the visti to the Spa I had never tried using Acupuncture to treat any of my painful conditions. Boy was I in for a surprise! I must admit that prior to the visit I had a preconceived "Doubting Thomas" syndrome towards a wonderful treatment that I had never tried before.What is most amazing is that in one 45 minute session Eden Spa has been able to diagnose and eliminate my agony. Before I became a client my GP perscribed Percocet and other pain killers for my condition,none of which alleviated my agony.Prior to coming to Eden Spa I experienced pain with normal daily activities,ie., getting in and out of bed, climbing up and down stiars, getting in and out of my car .I experienced most pain while taking my morning shower. I would feel excruciating pain in my lower back. Lacey, the owner has an amazing talent for acupuncture and most of all a pleasant bedside manner. Not knowing what to expect with my first experience, I especially liked the way she narrated and described each anticipated feeling that I would feel in my muscles.
In summary, I am very happy that I found Eden Spa and will recommend it very highly to all my friends, family and business acquaintences.

As a long time Boston resident, I have frequented many Spas in the community, including the original Day Spa Magi...which, I thought was pretty good. When it closed, I figured I'd give this new Spa a shot, because it's such a convenient location. I had such a relaxing experience at Eden Spa!!! The new owner, Lacey, made me feel so welcome and at ease, and I had the best massage of my life! Karla is AWESOME. I've had so many massages over the years, and this was truly the best. She pays attention to detail, and really does her best to help you relax your muscles. And Lacey, the new owner, is such a knowledgeable acupuncturist!! I have had treatments for anxiety, headaches, and I know that her treatments helped me conceive my beautiful baby girl. Everyone at the spa is extremely professional and they treated me very well. I highly recommend this new spa! they also have awesome colors for mani/pedis, and the polish stays on forever!!! Good luck Eden Spa! Welcome to the neighborhood.

BEWARE! If you bought a massage package at Day Spa Magi, which is this same business only under new ownership (just go to http://www.spamagi.com and it navigates right to the Eden Day Spa page), you lose all your money and are unable to redeem it. I paid 400 dollars for a massage package at Day Spa Magi, then they closed and there were signs saying they were re-opening as Eden Day Spa. When they re-opened, I tried to redeem a massage, and Lacey told me she would not honor the package I had already purchased and instead offered me a discount to come and purchase more massages. I was basically left high and dry and paid $400 for one massage. There are others out there who were robbed as well. This experience has made me never want to set foot in Eden Day Spa and I regret ever giving Magi Day Spa any of my business. They weren't that great anyway (with the exception of Fabiola who gives a GREAT massage). I am not saying NOT to go to Eden. Just be VERY careful about purchasing services packages. You may end up being robbed, like I was.

Hi Tara...thank for bringing this issue to attention. It's important for people to understand the situation we are faced with.
I would first like to clarify the situation being expressed through this review. It needs to be stressed that Eden Spa for Well-being is NOT the same business as Day Spa Magi. The owner explained to the reviewer that the new business of Eden Spa for Well-being simply took over the leasing of the location, and was in no way connected to the accounts or revenues of the previous business of Day Spa Magi. Eden was not given compensation for any standing gift certificates purchased from Day Spa Magi and they had no obligation whatsoever to honor any of those standing gift certificates. The owner chose, out of her own goodwill, to offer redemption in a very fair and generous way. The business of Day Spa Magi chose to close permanently for a reason that was not disclosed. A couple of therapists of Day Spa Magi loved their clients and careers that they established at the location that they requested to be a part of the new business. In order to maintain a good reputation, the owner chose to take on a couple of these therapists to join the Eden team. The reviewer was directed to contact the previous owner to settle the issue and it is clear that she was not satisfied. We apologize genuinely for the trouble and frustration, although we are in no way responsible for the loss of the purchase. Again, on behalf of Eden Spa for Well-being, I would like to apologize for anything that would have caused such anger from the reviewer. We hope that you would choose to see the issue in it's truth and decide to see Eden Spa for Well-being in a positive light. I went to Day Spa Magi for a bikini wax. Overall, the atmosphere was very nice, the customer service was pleasant, and the prices were average. However, I was a bit disappointed with the waxing itself. I felt that they did not use the highest quality wax, and after waxing, my skin was chafed and bleeding. Further, the aesthetician did not wait to ensure my comfort, whereas other spas have been fairly considerate of my pain intolerance! I would not go back here for another bikini wax. However, I have heard great things about their eyebrow threading services, manicures/pedicures, and massages.

You asked for a better experience....here it is!!! Day Spa Magi is now a new spa and will be re-opening in April as Eden - Spa for Well-being. The spa will be closed for the month of March '10 for revamping and improving! We are excited about the new spa and we hope you will be too! All of the same services (minus hair services) will remain in the spa...with a few new additions like acupuncture, far-infrared sauna, and foot detox!!!
