Had a nice afternoon here and enjoyed the lovely serene environment. Bonus, the salad I had from the Tea Bar was really good! I had a very nice facial and know I'll be back for another visit.

This spa is a gem. I loved the connection to nature. What's unique is the outdoor, coed meditation pool--a swimming-pool sized pool kept at 100 degrees for standing/sitting and peaceful relaxing. It's surrounded by a garden with siting area and a firepit that is beautiful at night. The lounge indoors (coed) is bright and airy, with windows facing the private garden. The spa food is limited but the service was amazing throughout the whole spa. Amy and Aht were wonderful. I never tried the fitness facility, so I can't rate it. The resort, Cavallo Point, is a little odd because it is a refurbished military base, and to me it still looks like a military base. But this spa is just wonderful, and it's just right over the Golden Gate bridge! I found true serenity there after spending the day soaking, drinking tea quietly, eating lunch brought to me in the lounge, and having a remarkable head, hand, and foot massage by Gail.

I visited Cavallo Point this past weekend for my sister-in-law's birthday. It was a raining afternoon but that only added to the wonderful experience. The outdoor soak pool was enjoyable and the surrounds were beautiful. I had a great massage and afterwards sat by the fire in the lounge area. After the spa, we had a very tasty brunch. Perfect getaway for an afternoon!
