NEVER AGAIN
The worst service; I've ever experienced. In an attempt to celebrate my Birthday; I was really disappointed. I had been a customer for the past 7 years; they have surely turned me off. I wouldn't recommend this spa or anything affiliated with this Zina; to anyone. The many discounts advertised, which are are only 10% can't be combined with using a spa finder card. A spa day for seven and you forget one. We were all waiting on two masseuse making this an all day process. Just to mention a few things that ruined my experience.

SO Disrespectful
This was the absolute WORST experience I have ever had with ANY business, not just salons The lady that cut my hair didn't listen to what I wanted and gave me a horrible cut. I had to go to another salon to get it fixed and they couldn't believe what I walked in with. When I called and talked to Zina she told me that my opinion didn't matter and if I wanted to give them a bad review that it wasn't going to hurt her business any because I was only one in several hundred customers and all her other customers loved her place. She wouldn't give me any space to tell her why I was getting so upset with her, she just kept interrupting me, literally yelling at me, and telling me that I needed to listen to her. Honestly, it's not so much the hair cut I'm upset about anymore, its the way I was treated as a customer by the owner. I have worked in customer service for 15 years and I can tell you that in any type of business, when you serve people, your customers come first. No matter how upset or irrational they are, your number one goal is to make the customer happy and ensure they have a good experience with you and come back. She made sure I don't go back. On top of all that, she told me I would recieve a refund that never came.

Hidden gem
THis a great salon have been going here for 5 years. They are the BEST. Would recommend to anyone. A hidden gem in baltimore. The staff and services are always exceed my expectations.

Poor excuse for a "Spa"
Services advertised as: Spa Package for Him & Her/3 hours 30 minutes/Was: $540.00 Special: $480.00 Come together and enjoy fresh cut flowers and aromatherapy candles, Side by side couples massages with natural Aveda oils,Aveda Facial to rejuvenate your skin for two,Side by side Caribbean Spa pedicure- facial for your feet,Champagne with French chocolate truffles. Services actually rendered: -No cut flowers or aromatherapy candles -Massages weren't "side by side" they were in different rooms but with an adjoining door open, one at time while other person was getting facial, inadequate scheduling meant the same LMT did both massages. -Left to parade around in public/waiting area in nothing but our robes while getting mani/pedis because we were advised to wait to get dressed til after by LMT. -"Caribbean " pedicure consisted of a Russian woman was upset I had gel polish on my toes, filed extensively to get it off causing severe discomfort. -Following the mani/pedis everyone had left for the day leaving us to sit in the waiting area wondering what was next all the while listening to staff talk inappropriately. We spent $514 for something that ended up being a very disappointing experience and will never go back.

OK service, but wasn't a fan
I had better. The treatment was OK, but the owner was a bit rude when I used my spafinder certificates.She doesn't approve of them, but to treat the customer as if they did something wrong isn't right. It's a turn off, even if the massage and facial were satisfactory.

Inappropriate Business Practices
I stopped in without an appointment (even though they accept walk-ins) and the owner had me sit and wait 45 min. just to get have my eyebrows waxed after saying she would be right with me. The receptionist was disrespectful to the employees as well as the owner, Zina. I can't believe she even has ANY employees and any of them would put up with that! Also, the Spa was unkept and dirty. I will be making a phone call to the State Board and reporting this place. I would highly recommend not stepping foot in Zina's Day Spa!!!!!!!

Great find in Canton!
My husband and I visited Zina's for the first time on Saturday December 17th for a couples massage and facials. The package was the "Spa Journey for Two", and it was fantastic! We've done a fair number of spa treatments-- Red Lane Spa at Sandals Resorts, About Faces, Massage Envy, etc, and I have to say that Rob and Lisa delivered some of the best massages we've had! The spa was very clean and all of the staff were incredibly friendly--we will definitely return. The facials were also excellent-- I appreciated the fact that I did not feel pressured by the 'upselling' that is typical of facials and spa treatments. All in all, a great experience and worth the visit. A note: if you are not familiar with Canton, make sure you give yourself time to find parking, which can be a bit of a challenge-- don't be late for your appointments!

Zina ruined it for me - I won't be back.
I have visited this spa twice now, largely because they are one of the few spas in the area to accept SpaFinder gift cards. The services themselves were great each time - I've gotten a mani/pedi that looked great and lasted a long time, and a body wrap which was well done and very relaxing. Here's what really detracted from the services: 1. I was made to wait 30 mins before my mani/pedi started (and had an appointment that I arrived early for) 2. The polishes are kept in a poorly lit hallway, so you constantly have to move them to a better lit area to see the true colors 3. The staff spoke with eachother in Russian for the duration of my pedicure 3. In between treatments, I was forgotten about. I finally walked over to the front desk to ask if they were ready for me after 30 more mins of waiting 4. I had my spafinder gift card and a 10% coupon that the salon had sent me. Zina brashly informed me that I couldn't use both, which I just shrugged off despite the fact that there are now rules stating that on either the coupon or the card. She went on to complain that I was using a spafinder giftcard "because they take 20% from us" and continued to shame me about using it in the future.

Horrible Experience
Purchased a Groupon for a massge and made appt. for a deep tissue. Upon arrival, was advised it would be $10 addt'l for a DT. Fine, no problem with that. However, what I was not told that rather than 60 mins., it would only be 45, which is not something on their menu of services. However, it turn out to be a good thing as is was a horrible massage. He must have been right out of school, and should not have graduated yet. Additionall, the massage table was not what I would call up to par, and most certainly not the sheets; even the MT complained about them. The worst part was the front desk person's attitude (Zina herself maybe). I was told they never have rec'd complaints about the massages (which I know is not true). She was just rude and condensending. Not a good business person, and that is why I would never return. Based on reviews on other services, I might be tempted, but no thank you!

Went here on Valentines day. I got a massage and the steam showers/sauna. The atomsphere was nice, but not that of a luxury spa. They took my upstairs. I asked if I could keep my clothing purse in a locker, I was told it might not be a good idea since others would be using the steam shower/sauna after me (Everything was all together in the same room). So I took maybe a 10 minute shower and jumped in the sauna. My massage therapist came knocking on the door as soon as I got in the sauna. He asked if I was ready to begin the massage. I felt like I had to leave the sauna. I put on a robe and gathered my purse, clothes, wine and shoes and followed him in the massage room. Not so relaxing so far. The massage was indeed nice and he pretty much went the complete hour. The massage was reasonably priced, however I paid either 30 or 35 dollars for a 10 minute shower and maybe 2 minutes in the sauna which I was not too pleased about. The wine and chocolates was $10 ( I had one glass and 2 hershey kisses and since my appt was at the end of the day, all the candy dishes they had put out with kisses in them were empty). I would go back for another massage, but if you want to relax and not be rushed using their other svcs, I'd go elsewhere.

HORRIBLE!
My girlfriend and I went to Zinas for a day at the spa. Well to make this story short. The spa itself was nice the rooms were nice and away from the salon. However, the massages were terrible. A child could massage me better than they did. We had a mani/pedi appt right after our massages but were so disappointed with the massge we did not want to have the mani/pedi. The owner Zina got into an altercation with us for complaining about the massages and not wanting to have the mani/pedi. It was so very unprofessional. Every business has a compliant its how she handled it like we were the problem. We were almost at the point of having to call Balitmore PD. Will never go there again and will never recommend to anyone.

nice neighborhood spa
I like Zina's a lot. Their location is perfect and near nice gastropubs to have lunch after your treatment. The services were exceptional and the rooms were well kept and cozy. I would definitely return. The staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable.

very nice and spacious enevironment; clean and attended rooms; multitute of services to choose from and very accomodating hours to fit any schedule. Great experience!
