This place is a precious gem by the ocean. I've been there many times for facials and I leave feeling so amazing -- relaxed, AND my skin (have some break out issues due to hormones) improves almost instantly. The added bonus is the owner, Judy Doepel, who's a really positive and inspiring woman to be around. She's very passionate about her work and also shares her knowledge of more holistic approaches to skincare, including nutrition and supplementation. I've tried her all-natural recommendations for regulating my periods and have been successful. Of course, this has helped my skin improve dramatically. Whatever your needs are, Judy's got a solution for you!

Judy Doeppel has been an essential part of my life for almost twenty years.. Her spa offers so much more than just what is listed...she is a beautiful soul with heart and giving and heals not only the body but the spirit as she sooths, treats, and heals your body and soul. She is so multii-dimensional that words seem to limit what beauty and abilities she has. I have known many to visit her, be treated by her, and everyone is impressed by her loving, her talents, her gift of giving, and her wonderful business. She is a gift to this world!

After moving to Manhattan Beach from Europe, I was overwhelmed by the selection of spas and esthetic services offered in the South Bay area. I wanted to find a practice that focused on the individual and believed in a natural approach to beauty. Some of the other places I contacted focused mostly on selling their products or wanted to get you in and out as quickly as possible leaving you feeling like your body just went through the deluxe car wash down the street. But with the help of spafinder.com, I found Judy D. I came out of my first facial completely refreshed and glowing and I was hooked. In addition to providing a full-range of treatments, Judy genuinely cares for her clients. This care and her warm personality make the treatments a very special treat. She uses all natural products and doesn't over process my sensitive skin. Products or services were never pushed on me. Since my skin showed dramatic improvement after the first treatment, I asked for samples and ended up purchasing products from the Eminence line and Judy's own line. Her gift certificates make great presents for the special people in your life.
