Tranquility At Doral

I decided to give my mother a spa day gift and it was worth it. We got there and were very impressed with how clean the place was. The staff was great and very friendly with my mother who is 65 years old and of course with me. The massage was great. We want to come back again for a mom, daughter spa day. I had a groupon and did a mani pedi, massage and steam wrap, which was very nice but I decided to also have a Keratin treatment(without group on). The hair dresser that did my Keratin treatment ruined my hair and I had to cut it because my hair was burned. She had charged me $260

I am afraid to say that I must give this place a bad review. I purchased a spa package on Groupon for their services. When I first called to schedule my appointment I was unable to book all my services for the same day. Regardless I went ahead and booked a massage and mani/pedi. Upon arriving for my appointment I was asked if I am pregnant. I said yes as I was 15.5 weeks along. At this point they got worried looks on their faces and stated that they don't massage pregnant women until they are 7 months along and even when they do, it must be very light touch and no massaging of feet. I was completely shocked as this is my third child and I have always gotten massaged while pregnant pretty much up until my 8th month. I have NEVER been denied a massage due to pregnancy. The "massage therapist" then stated that she had been taught by her massage teacher that a massage before 7 months can cause miscarriages. WOW, I can not believe that a legitimate massage school would teach such baloney! I for one studied massage therapy myself at the National Institute for Massage Therapy in Miami and have never heard of anything like that. In fact, many spas cater to pregnant women and have spa packages that include massages to cater to the mom to be. This woman seemed to think that massage can hurt a pregnancy which is completely false. Worst yet they would not offer another service at that time instead of the massage as they were "booked". I promptly called Groupon and got an immediate refund. My next call was to my usual massage therapist to schedule a massage for the same day. I should have known better to book a package from an unknown spa. Their staff is obviously uneducated and frankly quite rude. I will never deal with them again and will stick to my usual spas. Neither one of these has any issues with massaging a pregnant woman. Nor do many, many spas in Miami. (Feel free to contact me for a long list of certified massage therapists that are more than happy to massage a pregnant woman). As for the massage therapist, I feel badly for her as she obviously is poorly educated in her field. Quite frankly, I'm not sure how she passed her written licensing exam as she could barely speak English and was very quick to ask me if I spoke Spanish instead, which thankfully I do. So, if you are less than 7 months pregnant avoid this spa as it is a waste of time trying to get a massage there. Frankly I would stay away all together as their staff shows a clear lack of education. About four staff members all said they wouldn't massage a woman less than 7 months pregnant due to risk of miscarriage. One of them even had the nerve to say it was a State of Florida regulation! Yeah, right. If you are looking for lack of knowledge it can certainly be found at this spa. Tranquility? Not so much.

The staff left me alone a couple at times and I had to figure out how to use some of the equipment on my own. I guess they were short staffed that day. My massage seemed to be shorter than usual and I was not stretched which some places do offer that as part of the protocol for swedish. The place was very busy and I felt rushed to get to my massage table and back out.

I went with a groupon for a mani-pedi. It was perfect!! Everyone was so friendly. It was also maybe the best mani-pedi I've had in a long time!! I will be coming back to this salon!!

My sister and I went for a random day of relaxation. It was great. The spa offers great amenities and a delicious variety for lunch.

Went for a 1hr deep tissue massage and it was well worth the money. The place is very clean and relaxing and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking a spa get away

I have been loyal to my nail tech for the past 3 years and usually am very skeptical trying someone new. My gf told me that Sofia was great and I decided to give it a try. I was amazed by how clean and efficient she is, and I had to recommend her after my spa mani and pedi. The spa is clean and affordable, and all the staff are super friendly.

I wanted to spend some quality time with my mom since I havent seen her in 3 years. When she came to visit, I took her to tranquility at doral for a massage and facial. And we both ended up getting a pedicure while we were there. Everything turned out really cheap and my mom was so happy she asked to come visit again next time!

The manager, Maria, is extremely polite and knew exactly what services to recommend for my existing aches and condition. I like how clean everything was. They gave me a tour of the spa and did not chase me out even though my one hour was up. I felt brand new after I left the spa...

Try this spa out if you ever come to Miami. It is a very clean spa that knows what they are doing. Their services are second to none and the staff are all very friendly. They gave me the best massage and nail service. I will go back for sure and I would suggest all women try them before going anywhere else.

I saw a lot of other men when I was there and I was shocked. Usually I am the only man there and it feels so awkward but this time I wasn't the only one. Haha this spa acutally caters to men too which is nice. So try them out and I'm sure you will like it. BTW i got a pedi

I dread going to places where people do not care about you or when they treat you like you do not matter. The professionals hired at the spa are very professional and very pleasant to be around. Each of them greeted me when they saw me and took their time to provide my massage and facial service well. i like how they respected my decisions to go with the radiance facial and not the peel. try them out. you won't regret it.

Tranquility at doral spa is indeed one of the best in Miami, florida. I have been going there for awhile now and get all my services done there instead of visiting 3 different places to do nails and massage and facials, or tans. So when I found out they provided all the stuff i need, i booked my half day long session and that saved me a lot of money because of the coupon they had for that month. Ask the staff what their coupon is when you go in and they always give it to you. Thank you Tranquility spa.

I visited tranquility two weeks ago when I had a little lower back pain. They ended up finding a lot of nots around my lower back and the massage therapist quickly and carefully rubbed all of those out. I just went back for another massage yesterday and i feel good each time i get my massage. i like the massage service at tranquility and it is good for anyone who needs to relief themselves of any pain.

I got my massage from this spa. I usually never post feedback but I think this will help the spa out since they provided me with such good service. The place is clean and I think they do more than they should for you, which is good for me, but because of that, they might lose money doing so much when they charge so little. I recommend this spa to everyone nearby FL or if you ever come to Miami. It is a great spa for those who just want to relax. I have been to a lot of spas in my life but none beats this.

So I had to take a break. I work 16 hour days and have 3 kids to care for. My husband bought this gift certificate out of the blue and I booked a whole day getaway over the weekend. It was such a pleasure to spoil yourself every now and then. I liked the wraps they do, it detoxes and moisturizes your skin. I felt so good and was ready to head home to my kids refreshed and re-energized!

I really liked getting massages there and last month they had a promotion for facials so I thought I'd try out a facial. I have never gotten a facial before so I didn't know what to expect. They did a light facial since it was my first time, did a peel to remove dead skin, and after that my skin was glowing! I liked the moisturizer they used so i ended up buying it and they have this moisturizing mask that smells so good. I'm so glad i tried their facials, now i think i'm addicted!

I have really brittle nails and had to get my fake nails done in time for my anniversary dinner. We invited over 150 people for our 10th anniversary and I got so carried away I forgot about doing my nails. I did not make an appointment and they still catered to me!!! i was relieved.. they did my acrylic nails so nicely everyone thought these were my real nails!! this is the best place to go.

My first thought was how quiet this place was when I entered. There wasn't loud talking and the spa had a calming effect on me. When I was getting my nails done, the nail tech was really friendly and I enjoyed chatting with her. It made my day to hear her stories. When i was done, they told me about their offers but did not push me to sign up for anything. I ended up signing for a membership which i use every month now.. it was great and i encourage all those in the miami area to try this spa.

Go to Tranquility at doral for your massages and facials and nails. They are great! They know what to do and can customize each massage or facial specificallly to what you need and what your body or skin type it. I like the way they do business, not pushy at all, and made me feel good!

First of all, they really kept the spa really really clean and tidy. It was amazingly clean. Secondly, the staff looked clean and everything they wore looked clean. (which is extremely important to me). Lastly, they were all soooo nice and kind and I loved how they took care of me there for over 3 whole hours!

Most of the time, I feel really weird walking into a spa, you can almost sense all the women turn and look at you. This spa was extremely inviting, they were happy to see me! I liked the massages, very professional and lots of strength which is good for male physique. Most importantly, it was really well priced.

This spa is really good at what they do. All their people are very professional and know excatly what to do. I liked their massages the best. It was very well done and helped me with my aches. I will surely go back for more.

My wife convinced me that I needed a massage. Though I was very reluctant to go, I gave it a shot because it was our anniversary. I was surprised! It was so relaxing and my back felt so much better after I was done. I think we should make this a habit!

Tranquility at Doral is a great spa for getting that weekend massage. I'm a mom of 2 and I rarely get to go anywhere or have an hour to myself. My husband convinced me to try this place out and got me a gift certificate. I'm so thankful I did. I think all moms should take an hour off to get a massage here!

The atmosphere is so serene and great that I almost fell asleep during my massage. My therapist was great and did a very soothing massage (I'm afraid of the pain). They did a good job with the décor and surroundings. I felt like I was in heaven just being there and this is great when you are trying to escape your daily work and chores. Great place!

I liked the revitalizing facial. It really refreshed my skin and I was so relaxed the whole time. I don't like talking a lot and MariLuz quickly picked that up and left me alone while she did a great facial. Tranquility is not just good for their services but for how their staff is trained and experienced. They also have great discounts.

THIS SPA WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING... FROM THE MINUTE YOU WALK IN THE DOOR YOU COULD APRECIATE THE VIBE OF PEACE AND RELAXATION. I HAVE TO ADD THE SMELL IS TOTALLY DELICIOUS AS WELL. I WAS OFFERED SOME COMPLIMENTARY WINE BEFORE MY PAMPERING SESSION AND ONCE I LAYED IN THAT BED FOR MY MASSAGE I FELT LIKE ALL THE STRESS JUST DISAPEARED, THE STAFF WAS VERY ATTENTIVE AND THE MASSAGE WAS THE BEST IVE EVER HAD. TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONE AND WITH NO DOUBT I WILL BE A RETURNING COSTUMER !

Got a gift certificate for my anniversary from my MIL i thought she had bought it to get it out of the way, little did i know that this spa was going to become my second home! LOL awesome personnel, amazing massages and best of all great location!!! will visit again soon with my MIL!!!!!!

I bought a Groupon and took my neice for a mani/pedi, which retail for $40 each. The manager strong-armed a 25% tip ($10 each--I was going to leave 10-15% given the very mediocre service) and I was so in shock that I didn't know how to say no. Also, I had to do my own topcoat. My manicurist was itching to leave and packed her bags and left while I waited for my neice. Very rude and unprofessional!

I've been to this Spa twice very tranquil very chill i loved it. staff was very attentive to your needs. It was a good exp.

Be aware that this is not the famous "Spa at Doral" located at the Doral Coutry Club. Very confusing having 2 spas with a similar names. My husband purchased a gift card for me thinking it was for the spa at the country club and instead I was stucked with a certificate for this salon located very close to the club.

Had a swedish massage and deep facial to celebrate turning 60! I left feeling forty! Relaxed, rejuvenated and pampered. Will go back again and again. Very luxurious atmosphere, clean, and no stress to buy or add to - Elaine

I got a gift certificate from my mom from this spa... I had never been to a spa before, i was expecting a massage and that was it. I was surprised to find out that i was wrong, I was treated like royalty at this spa, great massage, great facial, i mean everything was great. The people are exceptionally experienced, proffessional and very nice. I am going back next week to get a tan... I would recommend all the women in Miami to visit this spa, I also saw that they offer parties, Great idea for girls looking for something different to do with their girlfirends...
