Evensong Spa has been designed to encourage relaxation and rejuvenation, with a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired exterior and interior furnished with slate-tile floors, stone fireplaces, earthy hues, and floor-to-ceiling windows that bring in natural light and connect guests to the spa's woodland location. The centerpiece of Evensong Spa is a circular labyrinth, a maze-like path where guests can enjoy meditative walks and moments of self-reflection. The 15,000-square-foot (1,400-square-meter) spa houses 11 treatment rooms; additional amenities include manicure and pedicure stations, a salon, and movement studio for yoga, Pilates, and stretching classes. Separate men's and women's locker rooms with tranquil waterfall whirlpools help create a calm environment. Guests can unwind in the relaxation room or dine at the spa café, both of which boast 12-foot-high windows that overlook a golf course.

The resort offers a variety of lodging options, from standard rooms to first-class suites in both the Main Lodge and Lac Verde Lodge. The resort's Estate Buildings, scattered throughout the property, are ideal for retreats, family reunions, or business groups. The popular Deluxe Lakeview Rooms are oversized, featuring two two queen-size beds or one king-size bed and a semi-private sitting area with full-size sleeper sofa. Great for guests who like a little extra room, many of the Lakeview accommodations open to a balcony or patio overlooking Green Lake and come complete with a refrigerator, wet bar, and oversized tub or whirlpool.

The lakefront Grey Rock restaurant features classic cuisine in a stylish-yet-lively setting. The casual Sunroom café, known for offering the best lake views on the property, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, as well as a Sunday breakfast buffet. Bar fare is on the menu at BoatHouse Pub during the spring, summer, and fall; guests can have their meal on the outdoor patio or enjoy a dinner show inside. The Pump House Parlor is a popular place for tasty ice cream treats.

Activities

Guests can get energized in the resort's fitness center or opt for an outdoor workout hiking along the property's two-mile trails. Guests can fish for bass, walleye, perch, and catfish off the property's pier or take advantage of the lakefront locale by renting boats, pontoons, and jet skis. Bike rentals are available during the warmer seasons, while cross-country skis and snowshoes may be rented during the winter months. The resort has two swimming pools, tennis courts, and plenty of event space. It is located near several golf courses, and the surrounding area offers antiquing, art shops, several parks, and annual festivals. I've been to Evensong a handful of times over the past few years. My most recent visit was on January 15th. Everything about the building, decor, and furniture is so soothing. The massages and pedicures I've had have ranged from a 4-5 in terms of quality. The spa cafe food is great! The locker room's whirlpool and showers are very nice. The relaxation room with comfy chaise lounge chairs is my favorite part. So why not 5 stars? The locks on the lockers are always a problem for someone in my party. They have keypad locks, and it seems that some of the keys don't work anymore. When I was in the relaxation room on January 15, there were two small groups of women who were talking very loudly. The room is supposed to be quiet so that you can read or nap in peace. Also the staff members were too loud when they brought people into the room during tours. Maybe they can do a better job emphasizing to the guests how the room is supposed to be quiet or put up some signs that remind people that it is a quiet zone.

Attentive staff and relaxing setting. The Innerjourney massage was one of the best I have ever had. Make sure you schedule the Green Lake Earth pedicure - worth every penny! Staff is well trained and the facility is spotless. Would recommend the lunch there nice views and food was really good. I will be returning again!

I have never enjoyed such a relaxing day before. The atmosphere was amazing...the interior/exterior was breathtaking...and the service was impeccable!!!! I will definitely be going back and I would recommend Evensong Spa to anyone who needs a day away!
