One stop shop-hair, facial, massage!
On my recent visit to Sanford House, I had my hair cut, colored, and highlighted by Briana. She is a pro at making my auburn turned gray hair more vibrant and a beautiful shade of red! I loved the cut she gave me. She really listens to you when you tell her what you want, and is also great at giving advice on colors/cuts. In addiiton, I have had a facial from Jenn, who is wonderful! She takes her time with your skin and treatment and it's an overall relaxing experience. My skin never looked better! The last service I had of the day was a super relaxing massage by Pam. From the warm bed, to soothing music, and the heavenly massage oils, I was ready for sleep mode. She was very professional and I felt very comfortable. I left Sanford feeling like a million bucks!

Massage
After a much overworked holiday season, I treated myself to a 80 minute massage. Pam was excellent. This was the first massage I have had in a long time that I actually was so relaxed that I fell asleep. I will definitely be back. The only improvement would be to have more comfortable lounging chairs for post massage relaxation.

Miracle Color Repair
Bravo and a big thank you to Jesse, an "experienced" stylist with a wonderfully upbeat personality who used his chemical skills and background to greatly tone down my hair without any noticeable damage, for an important trip to Germany. He miraculously / magically worked his chemicals to release the excessive coloring and I could once again feel comfortable being seen in public and confident enough for the diplomatic excursion to Europe. Jesse also recommended an ideal "cut" for my hair, providing easy styling, and my hair is still doing great. Merci/Danke, Jesse!!!

First Visit
This is my first visit to Sanford. Great location, it so relaxing. I didn't want to leave! The amenities are worth it. From the spa area to the bar, this one is a hit!

Hard to please!
My 75 year old mother was visiting from out of state and had to extend her visit due to health issues. She asked that I try to find a place for her to get her hair colored, cut and styled. I was unable to get her in to my stylist on such late notice so I took a chance on the Sanford Spa. I was skeptical because they were able to book her appointment on a Saturday with such late notice. She is not the easiest person to please when it comes to her hair. Her appointment was with Jesse, a somewhat "mature" gentleman with a great personality who was able to put my mother at ease as she explained what she wanted and didin't want. In a very reasonable amount of time, he was able to cut, color and style her hair "better than she's ever had before". Her style has lasted longer than any she's had from her usual stylist. She wishes she lived closer so she could have Jesse fix her hair on a regular basis. This is quite the compliment coming from someone who is very particular about their appearance. I'm sure she will want me to make another appointment with him the next time she's here for a visit. THANK YOU JESSE!

Wonderful Massage
The massages I have received have been terrific. I left feeling so refreshed and relaxed. I like that you don't feel rushed to leave after your massage - you can sit for a minute in the relaxation area. On my last visit, the therapist offered me a lovely beverage as well (not just your usual choice of water or bland hot tea), and that added a nice touch after the massage too. I recently discovered that my favorite massage therapist no longer works there (isn't that what always happens?), but I'm willing to try another therapist. This spa isn't as large as others in Arlington, but I like the cozier, more intimate feel.

Worst manicure ever!
I recently had a manicure at Sanford Spa because I wanted to try the new Shellac manicure. My nails looked dreadful....worst polish job EVER. Lumpy, uneven, thick around the cuticles. And it didn't last even close to two weeks. It started peeling off immediately. Considering the extra cost involved, I'm angry about the entire experience, which only took 45 minutes, start to finish. Also, I had to endure the tech's endless litany about her sordid personal life which, considering it was my first visit, was ill-advised if she wants repeat business. She will most certainly not be getting any more business from me.

A Unique Massage
This was my first visit to the Sanford Spa. Since I love massage, I decided to try something different and I'm glad I did. I chose a massage with Thai herb balls. The experience was wonderful. It was a combination of hot herb balls, Thai stretching and great massage. It is my new favorite "special" massage. And you get to take the herb balls home with you when you are finished. A definite "must try".

Amazing facial...
I received a gift certificate for the holidays. I made an appointment for the Botinol Treatment. Not even sure what it was, the friendly girl on the phone told me it was a no-needles procedure that worked like botox. I can not believe what a difference it made it my skin! The spa was beautiful, the staff very professional, they even offered me wine and cheese after my facial. I am a believer and can not wait to return to the Sanford Spa!

Gone downhill...
In the last year this place seems to have gone downhill quite a bit. It used to be my favorite little secret spa, but in my most recent visit it seems that there are some management problems. They were running out of robes and towels due to a broken washing machine, the large fountain in the "relaxation room" made a lot of noise because it was running out of water, and the staff constantly used the "relaxation room" as their main thoroughfare (rather than through the salon). It wasn't very relaxing, and seemed like they just didn't care very much. The topper for me was that they tried to overcharge me the ala carte price for a package I'd reserved. I'm now in the market for a new favorite spa, sadly.

HIdden Treasure
Nestled away in Arlington is this rare find, and it is a gem of a spa. The facility is absolutely beautiful and completely relaxing. My preicous mother recieved a pedicure which was well needed for her tired old feet! My 15 year old daughter and I took the time to unwind with spa massages. The treatment rooms & beds were cozy. The essential oils incorporated into the massage were heaven scents! Thanks ladies for our special time at Sanford House. Next time we come to town ,we will have lunch across the street at your beautiful Bed & Breakfast ,and spend more time in your FABULOUS hidden treasure! Blessings...Arizona Spa Girl :)))))
