About Bodyworks Day Spa
In 2007, Bodyworks Day Spa moved to new, custom-built spa facilities with 3,000 square feet of space and 13 treatment rooms. The spa, which is decorated with late Edwardian/Art Deco/Art Nouveau elements, has two couple's massage rooms, five single massage rooms, two esthetics rooms, two pedicure chairs, two manicure stations, and 2 Jacuzzis, in addition to two locker rooms (one for ladies only, one for gentlemen and couples). Treatments include massages, facials, reflexology, skin peels, body scrubs, and more. Waxing and nail services are also offered. Try the Rock and Rain Signature Massage, which involves Raindrop Therapy (with essential oils) and hot stone massage in one 90-minute treatment.

When stress is filling my body and tension has me knotted up, Bodyworks is the answer for me. Wonderful staff, great therapists - makes me leave all the hustle and bustle behind and for a few hours the relaxation and pampering is all about ME. I have been using this spa for 7 years and their quality of service and staff have consistently gotten better and better. Do something good for yourself or give a gift certificate to someone who needs a little pampering. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

When I want some me time and want to relax , this is the place I go! The atmosphere is wonderful, the people are very friendly . Also, it is very theraputic for me as I have a bad back! Since I have been coming here, it has helped my back tremendously. I would recommend Body Works Day Spa to everyone!

Take a day just for you a time out to enjoy and relax. I have been coming here for over five years and have never had a bad experience. I always come away after a 60 minute full body massage feeling calm and relaxed.

I have been going to Bodyworks for 6 years and highly recommend it! The services are provided by experienced professionals. All staff are wonderful, friendly, helpful and kind. Bodyworks carries the very best products and treats everyone like royalty! I love that they carry Bare Minerals/ Bare Escentuals products so I can try before I buy. It is also nice because they are well trained and help to answer questions about coverage or how to get the "smoky eye" look--anything you want to know about the makeup. Bodyworks is incredible!

The facials I have received from Bodyworks Day Spa are simply the best! The woman who did my facial was very knowledgeable about different skin types and what would be best for my skin. Not only did it feel amazing, my skin looked much better just after my first visit! I will definitely be back!

I would just like to say that I have had a few massaes in the last few years, but bodyworks has been the best. I had a package that included a scrub ( smelled wonderful), a tub ( very warm and relaxing), and a full body massage. I was very relaxed and welcomed. The staff there is very friendly and are always smiling. I brought my little girl for a princess pedi, and she is begging to come back. I would definately recommend Bodyworks.

I thoughly ejoyed my massage, it was so relaxing. I had a swi- thai massage that was so different it had lots of stretching. I never had a massage like that before, it was quite different. I will surly be back to do this again.

My husband and I recieved a gift certificate for a Wine and Roses package as a wedding present. It was absolutely amazing! We walked in and were greeted with the up most enthusiasm. We were seated in the lounge and offered a glass of wine and a warm pillow that felt amazing around the shoulders. We then went into the restroom to get changed into the softest robes I've ever felt. The scrub felt amazing and when it was over with our skin felt wonderful! After that we went and soaked in hot tubs and that was so relaxing before our massage. Our massages were marvelous! The best we have ever had! Our therapists were wonderful and really worked out the knotts that we had. After we got changed, one of the front desk girls did my makeup (for free) with the BareMinerals. And I loved the makeup. I bought it and now that is the only makeup that I use. This was the best spa ever and we will be coming back. Thank you to everyone who made our day amazing.

I have been going to BodyWorks Day Spa for many years and have had varied services while there. From massages to facials and pedicures to wraps, this spa has most all desired services. I look forward to my massage with Mary Kay, who is a therapist who puts me to sleep most every time I climb on her table. Complete and utter relaxation I use the Bare Minerals make-up and they carry a large inventory of all their products. The staff is trained in what's new and how to apply all products. Sedalia should feel very lucky to have this top rate spa in their community. A gift certificate for services at BodyWorks is my favorite gift to receive.

The instant I walked in the door, it was wonderful. Being greeted by smiling faces, led to the waitin area, music was soothing, was offered a warm neck wrap and something to drink. The green teas are absolutely wonderful!! Then was taken back for my first 'professional' spa pedicure. Very much worth the time and money!! Because I'm worth it:-)

My girlfriends and I went for a baby shower thinking it would be a good time. I very rarely get a break and a chance to get out to do something for just me. The manager had misunderstood what services we wanted and still wanted us to pay for the services. Since they advertise for bridal showers and other events I thought it would be a good group place to go. We were talking and laughing like most women do when they are out together. The ladies there got very upset with us and told us we needed to be quiet. We were supposed to get starbucks with our services which also never came. Then came time to pay for everything, the girl behind the counter was so concerned about how much gratuity I was going to leave instead of being patient. The whole experience from beginning to end was miserable! Dont waste your money here, there are much nicer day spas.

I really enjoyed my massage and spa facial at your facility. I had a massage at the old location, but have never been in your new facility. It is very very nice, I was so impressed. Your facility equals those I have seen at really nice places in Las Vegas, very professional and the ambiance was wonderful. I didn't want to leave. Your employees are so caring. I will recommend this to all my friends and use your spa for all my gifting occasions. It is also so nice to be able to buy my Bare Minerals locally. Thank YOU!

I have had the Hot Stone Massage at other locations and was not impressed. The staff at Bodyworks Day Spa were knowledgeable about all services and products. I was impressed with the way they set me at ease about the service to be performed. I was unsure at first about the service due to previous experiences at other locations. The staff was very professional and eager to tell me of the other services that they offered. Great job, I will definitely be back to this one!!!!!

I believe this is by far one of the most relaxing and enjoyable spas that I have ever been to in all my travels. Its like being somewhere in time. It is right down town historical Sedalia. The staff is wonderful and always there to lend a helping hand and makes you feel relaxed and special.
I would like to say it is well worth a trip for the experience and a day of relaxation and distressing.
