Scheduled a last minute appointment @ Hand N Stone to address some serious body pain caused by too many hours of sitting in front of the computer with poor posture. Mackenzie spent a few minutes discussing my needs and expectations so that she could taylor my massage and get the best results.... and she did! I walked away feeling painfree and... youthful... and happy. Thank you, Mackenzie! The staff was more than accomodating, the lobby was clean, peaceful and zen. I will be back... in two short weeks! Looking forward to it!

80 minute Hot Stone massage was the best thing ever. I was so relaxed, I did not want to leave. Therapist was excellent, the room was quite and inviting and the bed was warm... I recommend this to anyone, in fact I paid for my daughter to have one... thanks everyone. see you soon

I have been in a couple of times for the trigger point massage and have been very happy with the overall relaxation i have received. Signed up for their member services which is a great deal. although add on's are a bit pricey.

I truly enjoyed my experiences at Hand & Stone Beaverton. I purchased a Groupon for 3 massages and have now actually signed up for their Lifestyle program, something I thought I'd never do. I have had massages at many other places and without a doubt, the best massage I have ever had was with Cherise. She professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. I cannot recommend them enough.

I bought a groupon recently for Hand & Stone and have been very pleased with the 3 massages I've had with Paula. She is really responsive and just does a great job. They are hands down the best massages I've ever had. I really like the heated table, the low music & lights, and the friendly staff. I only wish the place was more "spa" like, i.e., that they had a relaxation waiting room where you'd wait in your robe and have tea, or had a sauna. But otherwise, it's a great place and I decided to get a membership there because I loved my massages so much!

I was really looking forward to my massage and waxing appointment - especially being 8+months pregnant. In both cases (two different visits) I was surprised by the questions they were asking of me to prep for the service. It was extremely amateur and did not put me at ease that this was going to be a relaxing experience. The main main issue I had was the refusal to massage my feet and legs due to pregnancy. It was ridiculous and if you are a professional there should be no issue massaging these areas. Being as pregnant as I am, my feet especially, needed some TLC. The waxing was okay. Brows were great, but again there was some serious lack of knowledge on how to do a bikini which led to some serious pain. I think I'd recommend this spa, but be super clear on the experience level you'd like in your provider.

I had a wonderful massage! Michelle was fantastic and even used some hot stones during the massage at no extra charge just because she felt that is what would benefit me most. It is nice going somewhere where you feel like they care about you.

I fell in love with hot stone massages on the beach in Mexico but was hard pressed to find one in Portland that was comparable. After several attempts I believe I got an introductory offer from Hand and Stone and I can say the hot stone massages I have received there have been better than some of the massages I have received in more expensive resorts. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating, as I often tend to schedule last minute, they almost always get me in. I have recommended Hand and Stone to several friends and will continue to do so. We have enjoyed the "Girl's Night Out evenings" and the Hand and Stone Gift Card is always a welcomed gift. The fact that they offer corporate rates made becoming a member a no-brainer. I had tried several other massage places/spas before stumbling on Hand and Stone and i would say they are "Hands" down the best in Portland.

I am a nurse and recently hurt my back. Meds were not helping and the spa (s) I usually go to had no appts available that day. I had heard that Hand and Stone was nearby and gave them a call. They got me in and my therapist was Anne. She asked me some questions and listened to my replys. She spent alot of time on that painful muscle and finished my massage for relaxtion. I was able to walk out without pain. I had no intention to join a membership but once I found out that I can make an appt with her all the time, I was sold. I just came back from my second time with her and I must say she is truly excellent and has a gift!!! I make sure I make my next appt before I leave.

I went here 07/01/12 for a 80 minute full body massage. The lighting, music, heated tables, are very soothing. My Massage Therapist was MaKenzie and she does a very good job at listening to what you enjoy. Customized to exactly what makes you relax best. Eighty minutes goes by so quickly so I am already planning my next visit.
I highly recommend Hand and Stone to anyone looking for a relaxing experience.

Having tried some of the different massages and treatments, I really enjoy the monthly relaxation massage I have been getting for almost a year now. It alleviates my neck problem, minimizes carpal tunnel pain in the hands and makes the feet ready to dance. - The warm stone massage is also excellent and another favorite of mine is the cold stone facial massage that works wonders for my sinuses. - I never feel pressed to buy or use any services I'm not interested in, but I do appreciate information on what's available. - See you next month!

I recently moved to Beaverton and have been looking for a good spa. I tried massage envy and it felt like the McDonalds of spas. I tried grand salon and spa, but was too pricey and I wasn't satisfied with the pressure of the massage. Finally, a friend told me about Hand and Stone. Right when I entred the door I was greeted by a friendly young lady. They had a spot open for a walk-in massage, no apointment needed! It was very relaxing, and they did aromatherapy aswell. My massage therapist was very precise with the pressure, always asking what I felt comfortable with. It was just what I was looking for!
