About Equinox Columbus Circle
The Spa at Equinox Columbus Circle wants to be "more than a refuge" for members and hopes to provide clients with an environment of "total relaxation." The spa is a modern space with elegant features such as Italian glass and marble fixtures. Essential oil diffusers and flowers in the hallway and the relaxation room add to the spa's relaxing atmosphere. There are four treatment rooms as well as locker rooms with steam and sauna facilities and a swimming pool. Massage modalities include Swedish, hot stone, reflexology, sports, deep-tissue, pre-and post-natal, and aromatherapy and Equinox also offers salt scrubs, body wraps, and sunless bronzing. Signature treatments include Equissage, a massage that combines multiple modalities to create an individualized treatment, and special facials such as the brightening 24K gold facial, antioxidant-rich chocolate facial and age-defying caviar indulgence facial.Location

Compared to the other Equinox spa's in NYC, this one is quite small and doesn't provide all the spa services that some of other Equinox spa's offer. This is somewhat surprising and disappointing because the Equinox "Columbus Circle" location is supposedly one of the more high profile Equinox gyms.
However, the staff is very nice and they truly know what they are doing. For example, their massages are great, and have helped me with back soreness after a long workout, I also like their reflexology treatments.
I do recommend this spa, but don't expect "state of the art "and pure luxury compared to the other equinox spas in the city like east 63rd and 76th St.

I was given a gift detificate to the Spa at Equinox Columbus Circle. At first I was skeptical, did I really want to spa at a gym??? Well I was wrong. My experience was fantastic. When I booked my appt (a facial and massage) I was told by the receptionist that even though I wasn't a member I was welcome to use the gym, take yoga and use the steam and sauna...AWESOME! When i got there a smiling man named Mark poured me a glass of yummy fruit infused water and gave me my robe and slippers and sent me to the steam to relax. Let me tell you...you could eat off the floor in that locker room! LOL!
My massge was awesome...I had an aromatherapy massage with man (I forgot his name - sorry) that was incredible and then had my facial with Mimi. They both explained each step of the way what they were doing which was good for me so I didn't have to wonder what was going on. Overall i loved my experience and can't wait to go back!!!
