Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa- Manalapan

I used to get headaches regularly. I tried many "tricks" to relieve the pain, including massages. Ever since going to Lori, a therapist at Hand and Stone, my headaches have been reduced to almost 0. Lori is the most talented therapist that I have ever been to. She understands the muscular structure of the body and and unbelievable talent to focus in on stressed areas. My wife had never received a massage before we went to Hand and Stone. She now schedules sessions weekly. Every visit we are greeted by Lori with a smile and a compliment. She allows us to feel at home. The facility is immaculate. The rooms are spacious and the equipment is top notch. Once you visit you'll look forward to going back.

I had been to another well known spa in the area and I never felt as welcomed and comfortable as I have at Hand and Stone. The owner Lucy, is wonderful and makes you feel so at ease, as does the rest of the staff! I swore I would never go for another massage after my first experience at the other spa, but my husband got me a Spa Finder gift certificate and made me an appointment at Hand and Stone and now I am hooked! My husband and I enjoy a couple's massage once a month, with Lori and Doug. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the massage is absolutely the best! I also go every other week for an eighty minute massage with Doug! I highly recommend it! My daughter has also had a facial there. She enjoyed it so much, she is bugging me to make another appointment! I highly recommend Hand and Stone in Manalapan. You will definitely will enjoy it!

I suffer from chronic back & neck pain and my friend recommended Hand & Stone Massage Spa in Manalapan. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a calming aromatic scent. Lucy & Deanna treated me like a returning friend. They were very helpful in explaining all the services & the membership information. My paperwork was completed & I was on my way to hopefully feeling better. My massage therapist was Doug. I was a little nervous at first with having a male therapist. But he put me right at ease! I was scheduled for an 80 min relaxation massage. It was the BEST 80 mins of my LIFE!! After I was handed some water, Doug recommended that I really consider the membership as it would greatly benefit me and my condition. I was convinced. I can now function in my daily life and look forward to my next massage and I will highly recommend Doug and Hand & Stone Massage Spa to all of my friends!! I have arthritis and have been taking medicine for years. Someone recommended I try massage therapy. I did my research and called Hand and Stone. From my the first phone call with Lucy I was hooked. I was able to get an appointment right away and was recommended to have my first massage with Emily. Emily knew exactly what I needed. I finally had a massage where I was not sore for days. My body felt great. I have joined the spa as a monthly member and it is the best thing I have ever done for myself. Somethimes I forget i have arthritis. Thank you to Liz, Lucy, and especially Emily!!!!

Although this spa is clean and the services provided are adequate, the owner is sending out emails with coupons for some services but will not accept Spa Finder certificates in conjunction with coupons. No mention on email or coupon that you cannot use the certificates. So I wasted a $100 gift certificate on a 50 minute massage that other customers paid $59.95 for. Bad business practice on behalf of owner Lucy Frost.
