About Oak Terrace Resort (LakeView Spa)
Oak Terrace Resort, a family-owned golf and spa countryside retreat located in southern Illinois, fosters a relaxed, remote environment just a few hours from the urban areas of St. Louis and Chicago. Stretching out over 600 acres, the property encompasses a 60-acre lake, an 18-hole championship-style golf course, a clubhouse, and inn, townhouse, and villa accommodations.
The golf course presents a challenge for players of all levels, with its rolling fairways and woodland and water settings. The full-service LakeView Spa features extensive spa services (hydrotherapy and golfers' massage are among those on the menu), as well as relaxation areas with a fireplace.
Meeting and event space includes a flexible 4,500-square-foot banquet room for up to 400 guests. Additional recreational amenities include two swimming pools and a tennis court.

Serene and sophisticated, LakeView Spa's interiors are styled in neutral shades, with touches of green, aqua, and apricot. Expansive windows offer picturesque water views. The 9,000-square-foot spa has nine treatment rooms, as well as hair and nail salons, a sauna, men's and women's locker rooms, and comfy lounge areas, where guests can relax beside a fireplace between services.
Treatments include massage, microdermabrasion, LED light treatments, body and facial sculpting, and a variety of facials, such as collagen, hydrating, and purifying. Body therapies include the Honey Almond Oatmeal Scrub, Vitamin Mineral Wrap, and Vanilla Orange Brown Sugar Scrub. The signature Hydrotherapy Massage caters to single guests or couples, and consists of a hydrotherapy bath with marine elements, followed by a Swedish massage on a heated table.
Kids 12 and under are welcome in the spa (accompanied by an adult) for facials, express mani/pedi treatments, and a Starlet Swedish or chair massage.

Golf is the highlight of Oak Terrace—the 18-hole course welcomes both amateur and advanced golfers on a front nine of complex water obstacles and a back nine amid lush woodland. An indoor putting green and golf simulator are also on-site.
The resort's exercise room features treadmills, free weights, elliptical and weight machines, and 52-inch flat-screen TVs; and hiking, tennis, as well as an indoor and outdoor pool are all available. Additional amenities include pool and poker tables, a kids' room, and arcade games.
The surrounding area provides several wineries for grown-up guests, while families can arrange boating, fishing, and camping excursions at nearby Lake Shelbyville.

Oak Terrace has 52 guest accommodations situated throughout the 600-acre grounds. The Inn, located in the clubhouse, houses 37 standard guest rooms, all of which provide private balconies overlooking golf course views. Guests can also reserve the Fairway Townhomes, which are two-bedroom, two-bath accommodations with full-service kitchens, living areas, fireplaces, and patios.
The grand Lakeside Villas, nestled along Beyers Lake, range from suites with sunrooms to two-bedroom deluxe accommodations. Many of the villas feature screened-in porches with Jacuzzis with water views, fireplaces, kitchens, and flat-screen, high-definition TVs.
Mulligan's Restaurant serves classic, hearty entrées of steaks, seafood, and pastas, as well as country dinners such as southern-style fried chicken and boneless pork rib-eye steak. For health-conscious guests, spa cuisine is available. The restaurant's lounge area offers full dining and bar menus.
