Located in Newport Beach, California, Newport Beach MedSpa is a full-service medical spa that offers a wide range of non to low invasive cosmetic treatments with little or no downtime. The 1,650-square-foot medical spa has five treatment rooms in a cosmetic medical office setting. The medical spa's treatments target specific skin and body conditions such as acne, scarring, age spots, brown spots, sun damage, redness, fine lines, wrinkles, broken capillaries, veins, sagging skin, fat and cellulite.

Newport Beach MedSpa's services include laser hair removal, laser vein treatments, and laser skin rejuvenation can be achieved with Titan™ laser skin tightening, Laser Genesis treatments, IPL (intense pulsed light) treatments, and 3-D skin rejuvenation. Fractional skin resurfacing is offered using Syneron's Matrix RF™ applicator. Botox®, Radiesse®, Juvéderm™, and liquid face lifts are also available. Laser assisted liposuction with Syneron's Lipolite™ system, Velashape™ cellulite treatments, and HCG (hormone based) medical weight loss programs are offered through the medical spa's body programs. A range of skin-care services is also offered, with options including a selection of peels, facials, microdermabrasion, and acne Blu-Light therapy. Levulan Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) treats moderate to severe acne as well as actinic keratosis (rough, scaly patches on the skin caused by excessive exposure to the sun that may lead to skin cancer). Medical doctors perform LipoLite™ laser assisted liposuction and supervise the medical spa's medical weight-loss program. Most Botox® and filler treatments are provided by RNs, though a medical doctor is available to carry out these functions as well. Licensed aestheticians administer skin-care services including facials, microdermabrasion, peels, and VelaShape™ cellulite treatments.

The medical spa recommends complimentary consultations including a VISIA® Computerized Skin Analysis, so that clients are provided with a full treatment plan tailored to their skin and body concerns.

Doctor Credentials

Emerico Csepanyi, MD, is the co-owner and medical director of the spa. He received his medical degree from the University of Palermo, in Italy, and his interest in laser technology and the cosmetic field led to a plastic surgery fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he also completed a general surgery residency and internship. Dr. Csepany enjoys helping people look and feel their best and has integrated cosmetic treatments such as laser hair removal, laser skin rejuvenation, body sculpting with laser-assisted liposuction, Velashape™ cellulite treatments, and weight loss, as well as Botox® and dermal fillers into his practice over the years. After extensive training with LipoLite™ technology, Dr. Csepanyi started devoting more time to body sculpting and the treatment of weight loss as it relates to his patients' health. He is affiliated with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Of all people I should have known better than to fall into this trap. I got a groupon deal for lipo on a very small area. It was WAY over priced @ over $1100 when all was said and done. I'm a surgical technologist that works in the operating room..let me tell you this place doesn't even remotely come close to treating things aseptically like they do in the O.R.! Yet they are doing invasive surgery. I wonder how many people have developed serious infections from this place? I had the lower part of my abdomen treated with their so called laser lipo. When the doctor was finished they put the extremely over priced garment ($135) on me and said that they's call me back in a week for follow up. Its going on week 3 and still no call from them! I have developed a seroma in the area. They should be taking care of this! Since I have experience with this sort of thing I've taken care of it myself. What would a layperson know about seromas and how to identify if they have one? This is very scary and I implore you...do NOT go to this place for any type of invasive procedure! I truly believe I should have a full refund for all the negative outcomes!

I was referred to this place by a friend, when I first walked in I was greeted very kindly, I didn't have to wait long and I had my procedure done, I was very happy with the results and quite impressed with the professional staff. That was over a year ago, now I've been there many other times for various procedures, I must say the quality hasn't changed and I've grown to like the staff, they are consistent in there staff, I got tired of other places switching employees all the time.

I went for a lipo lite treatment. It looked horrible!! I waited the 6months then Dr. Csepanyi did the procedure again and it was even worse!! My stomach is uneven a total embarrassment.When I went back after another 6months to talk to Dr Csepanyi he told me that I would never have the tummy of a teenager. What?!?!?! I was never expecting anything but fat removed and evenly. He was so rude but finally offered to do the procedure again and NO WAY would I ever let him touch me.I cannot wear anything to show my tummy now. I am so embarrassed!!!Be Careful

I have been coming to Newport Beach MedSpa for over a year and it is by far the best MedSpa I have been to! The staff is so friendly and inviting. They helped me to pick the treatments that best fit my needs. When I first came in I had more than moderate acne and now have clear skin!!

I needed a quick treatment while was visiting for a an event of my company. This place is a joke. Never ho here. Receptionist is rude and it is waaaaaay overpiced. Avoid this stuck up place in Newport beach.

I went to Newport Beach Medspa for the HCg releana weightloss program and lost 21 pounds the first month and will be starting my second month!! I am so happy with them, they have helped me the whole way and the staff was very nice. They happen to carry Obagi too and I love that line!
