About Aurelio Salon & Spa - Howell
Located in Howell, New Jersey, Aurelio Salon and Spa is also a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon. The 2,400-square-foot facility was designed by the manager Daisy, and built by Rosania Design. Interiors feature hardwood floors, crown and base molding, furniture by Belvedere, and wood finishes. Before services begin, clients can relax with a cup of coffee in the spa's café-style retail/waiting area. A special kids' waiting room is available for children while parents enjoy their spa sessions. There are also 15 design stations, a color bar, facial room, and a waxing room. Aurelio Salon offers haircuts, color, perms, texturing, finishing services, extensions, makeovers, facials, waxing, and much more. Staff members are licensed professionals who are dedicated "to consistently providing high customer satisfaction by rendering excellent service with quality products while furnishing an enjoyable atmosphere." Been coming here over a year now. I have never been disappointed. Dulce is wonderful and very attentive to my needs. Great front desk, everyone is always making sure I am comfortable. Very family like atmosphere, it is easy to see everyone gets along, which is fostered by the owner Daisy. They also have the best chocolates at the counter as well as biscotti and coffee/tea. GO HERE, Dulce is amazing with hairstyling and shampoo, you wont be disappointed. Always VERY accommodating with making appointments. They really do get what great customer service is all about. You leave here feeling happy!

I decided to check out Aurelio after my daughter raved about her haircuts she had gotten by Shelly. So I booked and appointment for cut and color. She listened to everything I had asked for and customized it to fit me. I am so happy with how everything came out. I would defiantly come back and recomend her to all my friends. Thank you =)

I found Aurelio by chance,I had a spa finder gift card.I was not expecting much-I was totally surprised!! Everyone is friendly,down to earth & they do everything to please the customer.THe spa is immaculate,the hair cutters do a professional job.Their hair wash station is the best =candlelight,a scalp massage,finished with a warm towel on your hair - so relaxing.There are levels of pricing for their hair cuts & services, so there is something for everyone.My husband ordered a gift card for me for Valentines day,it was lost in the mail.He called them & they sent one of their staff to my home to hand deliver it. Who does things like that in this day? - Aurelio did. I have brought my mom in law for her hair cuts at Aurelio & she loves it too. When you walk in everyone acknowledges you,asks if you would like a refreshment. Daisy, the owner, is wonderful - her customer service skills are top notch.I used to dread going to have my hair cut, the inconsistencies in my hair cuts, feeling like I was being shuffled in and out. Since I have found Aurelio, my mom in law & I make a ladies day out of it. It truly is a professional comfortable place to go to for salon services.

I never get a chance to have time to myself so when I had a few free hours I ran over to aurelio salon and they were able to fit me in immediately! my stylists name was prisilla and she gave me the most amazing hair wash i had ever received and a great cut and blow out. Im so happy with this salon and it will now be my go to spot, i might have to come every week just to get my hair washed that massage was heaven!!

I am so pleased with my haircut and color. I have gone to several different hair salons, but with no luck finding an individual who would cut/color the way I want. I was very impressed with the way Daisy had cut my cousin's hair, so I made my appointment three days later. Daisy took her time to help me find the perfect colors too. I finally found a permanent hair dresser, and I am so excited.

I was looking for a salon to do permanent straightening and was recommended this place. I'm always nervous trusting new people to do my hair, but they made me feel so welcomed as soon as I walked in the door! They are very personal and informative about their products and services! The price was reasonable to and in my opinion is WAY better then the salons charging over $500 for the same thing! This place is definitely worth going to; they exceeded my expectations by far! Definitely recommend!

I love it here! They have a great sense of style and are able to give me exactly what I want whether it's a cut or highlights. I had a keratin treatment done last month and my hair has never been so straight or shiny. I won't go anywhere else!

I really enjoyed my experience at Aurelio. Jamie took care of me. She gave me exactly what I asked for. I wanted a few inches off. She took off the right amount; other salons I have been to get "scissor happy" and cut off more than I asked. After finally getting a haircut I wanted I will most certainly be back!

My boyfriend had come here and had gotten a haircut and told me it was amazing so he booked me and appointment with shelly. She started off by giving me a mini tour and right away I felt very comfortable with her. I always have bad experiences with salons so I haven't been to one in a long time. The shampoo was amazing and my hair came out so good! She read my mind because I didn't exactly know what I wanted but just told her how I would like it to come out. I will defiantly be seeing her again soon!

I have been to this salon a few times, and sometimes I'm totally satisfied, and sometimes not. I would go back again, though. My stylist always tries to do what I want and she's so sweet. I don't want to identify myself because I do want to go back, and the managers are pretty harsh with their responses to negative review (and I don't want them to look at me weird in the salon!). I like your place, I just wish it was more consistent!

There are a wide variety of services available here. I did not have to wait a very long time to get service. But I thought it was expensive for the outcome. I might go back, but I also might try K's in Brick. Kim used to work at Aurelio and she is very thorough and a bit more reasonable.

My staff recommended I go to this spa for a relaxing experience. I was warmly greeted by the receptionist and I explained it was my first time visiting and was not sure of the service I wanted. She introduced me to a young lady named Lisa. Lisa took me on a tour of the salon and explained the many services they had. She then helped me choose a hair color and cut. The hair washing experience was amazing. I left this salon feeling relaxed and thrilled with my new look. I can't thankLisa enough for a great first time experience and will be going back to try the facial she told me about.

the service at Aurelio's salon is exceptional. ever since the first time i went there, recommended by my aunt, i wont go anywhere else to get my hair done, especially for special occasions. I went to Aurelio's to have my hair done for my sweet 16 party, and throughout the night I received endless compliments on my hair. Everyone wanted to know where I had gotten it done. i have already recommended aurelio's salon to all of my friend who are looking to get their hair done. the hospitality at aurelio's is also beyond comparison. Never have i gone to a salon where i was offered hot drinks like coffee and tea, and treats like biscotti and chocolate. i enjoy going there so much, and so does my sister. no matter who does our hair, and so far we have had rachael, sheryl, natalie, they always do a phenominal job, whether it's cut, colored, or a styled. regardless of what you need to have done, Aurelio's can do it, and they do it well. you will not find another salon with such polite stylists, up to par service and a homey environment.

Aurelio has excellent quality overall. I would trust any lady that works there with my hair, especially the owner, Daisy. Their professional nature is expressed by their upscale appearance, friendly personalities, and their infinite knowledge of hair. Though the price may seem high to some people, I would rather get my hair done by these professionals than anyone else. Your money is getting put to great use! I have gotten my hair done, from prom curls to full dying/highlights, and I have never been let down.

I paid a lot of money to get my hair colored here and it came out orange. I went back the next day to have it fixed, and was told that they could only do so much to fix it before they had to start charging me for more services. The manager called me the next day, and wanted me to come in so they could fix it further. I did not go back so that they could experiment on my hair AGAIN, and I will not go back to this salon. I think part of the problem is the inexperienced staff. I went to a stylist who was one of the less experienced staff members, and she left in the middle of my coloring to wax someone else. My stylist then had someone who had just graduated from beauty school finish coloring my hair. Not very professional.

I am sorry to hear that you did not like your experience but please tell the FULL story in a review. We did to your hair what you requested. You Insisted on Highlights WITHOUT the use of bleach and only want us to use color. We informed you that we will do our best but there is no way to get highlights without bleach on hair that was chemically processed with color, as yours was. YOU insisted no bleach and that you had it before, later you told my manager that maybe she did use bleach that time. My staff did their best to achieve your goal. When you came back in you wanted us to do other things to your hair, again not allowing us to follow our standards. My manager offered to fix it because we stand behind out work, and get you back to one color, but you did not come back. If you allowed us to do our job they way we have been trained, and what is standard for the industry, we could have achieved the look you want but it was you who said no. Also all of our staff is fully train and license stylists. Your stylist was not fresh out of beauty school and is actually published in several magazines for here color and haircuts. I am truly sorry that you had a bad experince at our salon.

I'm really happy with the facial Dina gave me. i'v tried a few spa's for anti aging facials and treatments but never really happy with the results until now. she also explained what i can do at home to get better results and make my skin look younger and healthier. then she called me 2 days later to see if i had any questions. i could tell the staff at the aurelio salon really cares. see you next month for my facial!

Daisy cut my hair and she was amazing! She sat down with me for about 10 minutes to figure out what I wanted to do with my hair (I had no idea what I wanted so I told her what I didn't want) and I have been getting so many compliments the last 2 days. She's was very detailed with the haircut. I really felt she took her time to style and flat iron my hair.
Dina who is the skin care specialist is also amazing best facial ever and she even gave me a skin care regiment that I can follow at home. This is my new salon. Thank you Nicole R

Moriah waxed my eyebrows and she did the best job ever on me. My brows are sparse and it is not easy to get it right. Not only were they nicely shaped, but the wax lasted longer than usual. Moriah is highly recmmended in my book.

The service and atmosphere was outstanding, very warm and welcoming.I Allison did a wonderful facial and afterwords i got my Hair done by Daisy. everything was perfect from beginning to end. i was so happy to see that they did more then just facials.
