About Hotel Bayerischer Hof
It was Ludwig I, who in 1841, inspired the building of the Hotel Bayerischer Hof to provide the king's guests a comfortable place to stay. With a long tradition of well-being, the property has been privately owned by the Volkhardt family for more than a century and is now with its fourth generation. Ideally situated in the center of Munich, the hotel is convenient to all-important sites, the shopping district, and the opera. There are 340 individually decorated guest rooms, including 60 uniquely designed suites.
The hotel reopened the modern Blue Spa in 2005 to serve both guests and day clients. The award-winning spa focuses on relaxation and regeneration and provides a variety of wellness services and a panoramic view of the Alps from a lush roof garden. Guests can doze comfortably in the conservatory by the fireplace, or try balanced fruit cocktails at the pool bar. A special highlight of the spa's swimming pool is its sliding glass rooftop. The hotel and spa allow children, and the property allows pets at 20 Euros per day.

The Andrée Putman-designed spa above the city of Munich provides panoramic views of the Alps. International therapists and staff provide integrative bodywork and massage along with other services, some which cater specifically to men, couples, or mothers-to-be. Specific programs are available for those seeking stress management or improvement with their sleep. The signature Blue Spa Massage is a holistic massage that combines shiatsu, Swedish, aromatherapy, lymphatic, and Thai massage styles.
Guests can enjoy the surroundings and pool whatever the weather, thanks to the sliding glass roof, which allows open-air swims in the sun or refuge from dreary days. Other features include a sauna, steam room, and locker areas.

Rooms & Dining
The five-star hotel has 340 guest rooms and suites, 60 of which are decorated with individual style. Rooms are available in six different designs, from Cosmopolitan R&B-Style to Laura Ashley Style. The suites offer variety as well: from themed suites to the luxury suite with 360-degree views of the city. Hotel guests have free access to the swimming pool, sauna, steam bath, and fitness studio and entry into the Night Club Bar.
The Night Club is just one of the six bars on the property. Other bars include falk's Bar—the only room in the hotel to survive World War II undamaged—and Piano Bar.
Restaurants at the hotel cater to all types of tastes. The newly opened Atelier and Garden restaurants combine contemporary architecture with fine dining. Blue Spa Bar & Lounge offers light cuisine and cocktails with a panoramic view until sunset. And traditional decor and Bavarian cuisine are found at Palais Keller, while Trader Vic's offers Polynesian food and ambience with two bars.
