Villa del Parco & Spa, Forte Village Resort is set in a 117-acre tropical garden, with a pristine beach in one of the most unspoiled corners of Sardinia.
The Thaermae del Forte wellness center features thalassotherapy treatments, which were designed and patented for the resort by a medical team led by Dr. Angelo Cerina, complemented by an endless choice of sports and leisure activities.
The resort offers an array of dining options, from breakfast on the patio to an elegant dinner in the Belvedere restaurant on the top-floor terrace or at any one of a number of gourmet restaurants.
The resort is closed from October 1 through April 30.

The 2,000-square-meter Thaermae del Forte wellness center features Mediterranean-style decor inspired by the lush natural surroundings. Linked by a short path to the hotel, the spa makes thalassotherapy the basis for many of its treatments, using seawater, sand, oil, and seaweed for their therapeutic benefits. The Thalasso Massage, for example, takes place in high-density salt water and incorporates stretching techniques for complete relaxation. Salt scrubs use plants and extracts of Sardinia and the Sardinian sea.
Services are provided in the 22 treatment rooms, and guests also have access to a sauna and steam room. The spa also offers countless wellness offerings and programs in supervised detoxification, stress management, sleep improvement, meditation/spiritual awareness, and a comprehensive weight-loss program.

Located outside of Cagliari, the Forte Village is near Torre di Nora, Torre di Chia, Nuraghi, Cagliari, Cantina di Santadi, and Museo di Pula. Families are welcome at the resort, where a "children city," or miniclub, provides games and workshops for younger guests.
Inside the spa is a 270-square-meter fitness center with TechnoGym equipment, weight training, cardio fitness, and a body doctor. The center also offers personal training, aerobics, aquaerobics, stretching, Pilates (with mat and Reformer equipment), and yoga. Water sports take place in one of the property's two pools or in the ocean for snorkeling, scuba excursions, and scuba certification. Hikers have access to five miles of trails on property, and golfers can take advantage of the area’s 27-hole Molas Golf Club. There are also 10 tennis courts.
Piazza Maria Luigia, in the central square of the resort, is popular with international artists, fashion shows, and entertainment.

The five-star resort's guest rooms each feature a large terrace. Double rooms have a balcony or patio with a view of the garden, and bungalows have private terraces. Those seeking privacy will find it in the Boathouse suites, where the four suites sit in the most secluded corner of the Forte Village Resort. Beachcomber suites feature terraces for enjoying summer moonlit-and-candlelit dinners. The Villa has an exclusive outdoor swimming pool and large private garden, as well as a terrace-solarium with sea views.
On the top floor terrace of the hotel, guests will find the Belvedere restaurant, serving Mediterranean fare under an open sky and overlooking the sea. Other restaurants in the Forte Village, including Gordon Ramsay, serve international cuisine. A spa menu offers portion-controlled options, and restaurants can accommodate kosher diets with advance notice.
