  Overlooking the gulf of Saint-Tropez and the seven beaches of Pampelonne, the Château Hôtel de la Messardière looks like a castle on a hill. On 25 acres of beachfront land, the property comprises the original chateau and a Mediterranean-style hotel. All rooms at the seasonal property (closed from the beginning of November until the beginning of April) feature balconies or terraces.

  The Spa du Château serves both hotel guests and day clients and operates in partnership with La Prairie and Cinq Mondes products and features an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, gymnasium, steam baths, shop, and a hairdresser.

  All-inclusive packages are offered for guests, and there is full concierge service on-site to help guests plan visits to nearby cultural attractions.

Every detail of the spa has been chosen to instill a sense of grandeur like that of the château. Bathed in natural light and decorated with mosaics, carved stone vaults and columns, stained-glass windows, and wrought-iron railings, the spa also features a terrace and Italian-style garden. Dimmed lights, soft music and the sounds of water instantly put guests at ease.

The 465-square-meter spa holds six treatment rooms, including a Thai massage room, hand and foot beauty room, outdoor cabin with sea views, and a duet treatment room with hammam. Body, facial and massage services are performed with Cinq Mondes and La Prairie products. The La Prairie in Provence is the hallmark service; this facial, designed to firm and tighten the skin, uses gentle techniques using lavender essential oil. After treatments, guests can relax in the Espace Détente area, which features a tide pool and Jacuzzi, and separate men’s and women’s steam areas.

Between the reception area and the Italian garden is a 25-square-meter heated pool. A second pool is on an outdoor terrace overlooking the sea.

The hotel is an official French Bird Protection League Birdlife International ornithological reserve and incorporates environmental protection schemes into the property's management. Guests can enjoy the flora and fauna of the grounds in the garden and the botanical footpath.

Also on-site is an art gallery, which hosts exhibitions by international artists. The works of Victoire de la Messardière are permanently featured at the hotel.
