The St James Bar takes its inspiration from Coco Chanel’s 1920’s Paris apartment. The cocktail list includes vintage cocktails from antique recipe books as well as a wide champagne list and English sparkling wine animated by our very own champagne angel.
Set over three floors, the 392-square-meter Sofitel So SPA offers a menu of services using Carita and Cinq Mondes products. New and expecting mothers can also indulge in treatments with the range of Mama Mio products. The So FIT by Sofitel exercise facility features Technogym equipment and an exclusive Sha Chair offering a unique multi-sensory experience.

Decor of the 184 guest accommodations, 17 of them suites, is French-contemporary-meets-classic-British-sophistication, trimmed with mahogany furnishings, rich carpeting, and dashes of chocolate, almond, and olive hues. Sofitel London St James is undertaking an exciting transformation of its restaurant and bar which will be closed from the 4th July. During this time, breakfast and dinner are served in Le Restaurant located in The Mayfair Suite, on the lower ground floor. For a relaxing drink and a light meal, Mathieu Bruno, Bar Manager, welcomes guests in Le Bar. As well as in Le Bar, guests may wish to indulge in a delicious afternoon tea in the award winning spa, Sofitel So SPA. The new restaurant and bar are anticipated to open in October.
