Located on the corner of Park Boulevard and Adams Avenue, in the heart of San Diego's University Heights neighborhood, EnviouSkin Spa is a European-inspired day spa that caters to men and women. The spa's upscale design is enhanced by a turquoise and chocolate brown color scheme, orchids, and feng shui music. Treatment rooms have a modern, but warm feel with pictures and a stone shower is also available. Services include massage, body treatments, facials, and waxing. One of the spa's signature offerings is the Envious Signature Treatment, a revitalizing facial that works with an elastin collagen protein enzyme that may reduce the appearance of sun damage, soften facial lines, and tone the skin. The facial ends with an aromatherapy paraffin application to the hands. Complimentary skin and body consultations are offered as are tea and water. Clients can also hold small get-togethers with friends and family at the spa.

I've been going to Kim for spray tans and must say she is the best in San Diego (believe me I have tried them all). She spends her time and meticulously sprays each and every part of your body, doing the necessary shading so that you look 10 lbs thinner afterwards. I am very fair and never get any streaks or marks when Kim does my spray tan, also the gun they use to apply it is top of the line and sprays just a small amount of product so that it looks natural. Going back next week to try their body exfoliation and facial service.

This was an awesome experience. I had an awesome 90 minute facial, as well as the Mojito Body Exfoliation. It was amazing! I loved how clean it was, and how friendly the staff is there. It was the most relaxing time I have had in ages. I would definitely go back.

Every time I have ever gone in to Enviouskin I feel like Family. I have had brazilian waxes from both Kim and Nicole and they keep me so distracted I hardly feel the pain and they are the only girls I have ever found who get every last hair. Cute place and wonderful staff. Recommend this place to everyone!!!

I had been researching everywhere for a place to have a Brazilian wax. Everyone rated this place so high and I found an amazing deal so I thought why not try it out. When I arrived... The atmosphere was amazing and the receptionist was so nice. Then I am pretty sure Nicole is the one who took me back and waxed me. She took me in a room where the bed was shoved in the corner because they where doing a spray tan and then whole waxing lasted about 10 maybe 15 min. Now this was my first one so I expected a bit of pain but I was in a lot of pain. I just tried to for get about it but after a few days on the crease of my leg it was hurting really bad so I got a mirror and I have a major burn!!! It ruined my experience. I will never have another one nor will I never go back there!

The staff was great and my massage and body scrub was wonderful. What is horrid is the location. The massage room SHARES a wall with an auto garage! You will hear mechanic tools and hydraulic power tools the whole time. Then what was worse is the thin wall is right next to the waiting room. You end up hearing all the giggling, talking, phone calls, and everything in the lobby.
Your body ends up feeling great, but your mind does not get relaxed from all the noise. They should crank up the music, or switch locations. It baffles me why anyone would run a spa next to an auto garage. Rental space must be hard to get for spas.
Go after the body shop is closed for the best experience.

I apologize about the loud noises inside the spa it is a small space so it sometimes can get a little noisy...
The car dealership next door to us is usually very quiet so we haven't had any complaints, I am very sorry if that the day you received your Massage and Scrub wasn't as relaxing as it could have been.
We have Spa Week coming up September 13th - 30th where we are going to offer our Lomi Lomi massage and a Mojito body exfoliation as well as our famous Detox Rehab Facial for $50.00 I would love to have you come in for one of those Treatments and hopefully have a more quiet experience, we are also going to be open till 9pm so the car dealership is going to be closed...

I really enjoyed my experience at EnviouSkin. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. Kim, the owner, is very sweet and extremely accommodating. I got the body scrub and swedish massage. Amy was great. She made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend the body scrub. It leaves your skin silky and smooth and is perfect for the fall season. I would definitely visit this spa again.

My friend and I had spafinder gift certificates and we chose this wonderful spa to use them! Kim and Amy were both absolutely fabulous, not only in their craft (90 minute swedish massage and cider exfoliation) but also welcoming hosts who made you feel like you were at a resort! Lush robes, beautiful showers, and cheesecake to boot. I would recommend this spa to everyone and will be returning soon!
