I went here on my anniversay with my husband, and although this is a beautiful facility it was very hard to enjoy it without a locker. I had to carry my clothes and shoes and purse around with me because they had a two group functions going on. I had to wait in the back for 20 minutes before someone could even get me a robe and to boot even though I drank ample amount of water I ended up with a virus the next day and slept for 24 hours. This may have been something seperate but just was not a very relaxing romantic get away. I felt like I was a burden to them asking for a robe and no one even gave me an altenative of what to do with my belongings. I was embarrassed to be ealking around with all my clothes and other items.

My friend and I visited the MGM Detroit Spa and had a wonderful experience. The facilities were outstanding and the customer service was great. The facilities were four star, everything was immaculate and very serene, it is an exscape for the hustle and bustle of the city and even the casino madness. The staff were very attentive and courteous. I will definetly return. Next time I return I will back my swin suit take a book and make a day of it.Not so much of a complaint, but we were told we would receive a conformation call and did not, and it would had been nice to be informed to valet at the Hotel entrance and approximate length of services and visit. I had four mini services and was there about 3 hours, but I got to enjoy the facilities between my service, overall my experience was great and I plan to return very soon!

I am a spa junky and have been to both destination as well as day spas across the country but never I have I been asked to pay for the service beforehand. There was lots of escorting from person to person around the spa and down the stairs, etc.. I must say though that me and both my friends LOVED our massage therapists. They were heavenly but a bit overshadowed by the poor skills of the nontherapy staff. One of the ladies went so far as to comment within a conversation that was between my girlfriend and me!
