I visited Tangles Retreat for the first time today; it was a wonderful experience. Having had a fair number of messages in the past, I must say that I believe Rene's Therapeutic Massage might very well be the best I've had. She especially addressed sore muscles in my neck and shoulders and seemed to know exactly where the problem area was and how to sooth it. Minja provided a facial, and again, I was extremely satisfied with the process as well as the results. I had questions with regard to the charge vs. the website price, but I blame myself for not having clarified prior to the service. Having said that, it was certainly worth every penny! I highly recommend Tangles for its cleanliness and service, and I will most certainly return as well as recommend it to my friends.

just went by today to get some good deep massage as my shoulder..neck and back was hurting like crazy and the service i recived makes me wana go everyday ..loved it m definetly visiting them again :)

Just got home a bit ago from Tangles; a great experience. Received a Spa Finder card back in January but being not much of a Spa person, the card was put in a pile for a 'rainy day'. Having overdone some outdoor sports and yard chores last week in the heat, my back muscles have been sore for about 5-7 days. I tired to stretch and swim them loose but haven't had any luck so dug out the card and looked on SpaFinder.com. Read reviews and thought I'd take a ride to see how 'warm' a walk in would be treated... Tangeles is close, so I stopped by yesterday and found the front desk to be very friendly and helpful; explained that I hadn't had a massage for over a year, what was going on, that I had a SFinder card, etc... I asked for Denise from the other recommendation and she had a spot open today at the time that I wanted. Denise and the other front desk person were just wonderful. Great atmosphere. Very informative, super clean, great 1 Hour Therapeutic Massage by Denise. Very attentive, could not have been better. Overall a very positive experience and I may go back with my daughter sometime in the summer for a mom-daughter day. Thanks Tangles! I'm glad we have a 'just-right' spa in our neighborhood.

I injured my neck in my sleep. I prop my head up in my hands if I'm stressed. After a week of trying to stretch it out myself but not having any luck my husband suggested that I try to find someone that could massage my neck that night. I called 7 spas but all of them were booked up. I called Tangles and Denise the massage therapist said she would wait for me if I could be there by 6:30pm. I didn't think that would be a problem. I had to bath and put my baby to bed. Well the baby wouldn't go to sleep so I called at 6:30 and asked if she would give me 15 more minutes and if I couldn't be there by 6:45 then forget it. I got there by 6:45pm and she got me right into a room. I explained what I did to my neck and she spent the entire hour on my neck, shoulders, and back. At the end of the session she told me what I needed to do the next 3 days in order to ease any other pain that I may have. She did a wonderful job. I've haven't found a suitable massage therapist out this way until now. I like the fact that she was willing to stay late for me, listened to me explain my pain, and communicated with me during the session without being overly chatty. I also like that she keeps heating pads on the table. I highly recommend her and I will go back to see her.
