Morning Glory Salon & Spa

I purchased a promotional deal/voucher to try this place and I can see why nearly every website seems to have a promo on this place (to get people in the door). I had gone in for a massage and mani/pedi. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with any of the services. First off was the massage - while they never proclaimed to be RMTs, the girl who did my massage was extremely rough even despite politely asking for a little less pressure. Besides the discomfort of what should be a relaxing hour, the noise level outside the room was just too much to allow for any attempt at relaxation. Next up was the mani/pedi which was not painful or uncomfortable, but again, was not very professional. My idea of getting my nails painted does not typically include having half my fingers painted too and then removed with q-tips. I wasn't overly fussed given the discounted price I paid, but personally wouldn't go back, even with a deal. I sincerely hope that this was just a not-so-great experience for me and an exception rather than the rule but judging by the other reviews, that doesn't seem to be the case so proceed with caution.

facial was awful and left both my daughter and me with pimples on our faces. After my pedicure (which is almost gone after just a week) I was asked to walk bare-feet to the massage room (very outdated). Place was dirty. Will never recommend this "SPA" to anybody Barb

I got 3 web vouchers for $29ea. Included a 30 min., hot stone massage, mani, pedi. Got there on time, place looked dirty, run down, windows filthy! The workers got there late and were rushing to get my stuff set up. Waited for someone to appear, after a cpl minutes, someone did who did not speak English. My appt started 10 minutes late because the person doing my massage had to deal with water leakage first. The massage room was dirty and an old roll of toilet paper was soaked thru with water was right in front of me. WHile sitting doing my pedi (with unexperience lady) the other one did my mani while she stood next to me - I felt rushed. They cut my cuticles, which is a huge no-no!! I asked her if she was cutting them and she said - oh no, just the extra on top- I told her not to continue. The other inexperienced woman made my toes bleed because she was picking at my cuticles on my toes - she hurt and even telling her she didn't understand me, so she didn't stop until I pulled my foot away. nail polish choices were old and outdated and only had about 20 ugly colours to select from. Very disappointing and have lost my money on the other 2 vouchers because I never want to go back!! Spend your money elsewhere, avoid this place!!!!!

I have read the commentary and feel compelled to share my personal experiences. The services that I have received have been high quality and the aesthetic advice unparalleled. I choose service providers based upon their ability to make me look my absolute best. Taking into consideration my lifestyle, professional needs, skin tone, weight, wardrobe preferences -- all important factors-- Lydia has been able to advise me on eyebrow shaping and skin/hair treatments, as well as hair colour and cut, all of which make me look considerably younger and which I can reproduce on my own in very little time. I would ask all of you who are using these reviews to make educated consumer choices to consider the following: is the purpose of a salon/spa to provide trendy coupon-clippers with an opportunity to watch their friends' personal hygiene needs attended to OR is it to provide discreet, personal services that will allow one to look and feel better on a daily basis? My Advice: Make an appointment, come prepared to discuss your beauty goals and lifestyle, accept the advice offered by the salon's trained professionals THEN socialize with your friends, family, colleagues and graciously accept their compliments.

I had bought a gift for a friend and me to have a body scrub and massage. The place did look neat and tidy but that was deceiving and it is definitely no spa! It is very misleading, it looks like a salon with a couple of extra rooms for manicure and pedicure and other spa like treatments(if you can call it that)! The blankets, towels and sheets that were used were from Walmart and looked dirty, actually I don't think they were washed from the last person or people who lay on the table previously! This place should not operate or call itself a spa! A very very disappointing experience, I was embarrassed that I had brought my friend there. Never will go back again...take this review to heart!!! Spa Finder should really check out the places they recommend....

I bought a package on a group buying website, pedicure, manicure and hot stone massage. It was the worst pedicure and manicure I've ever received. When getting my pedicure done, I had to put my feet in a 'sink'. With a tap. My manicure was provided at the same time as I was getting my pedicure. I had to sick my hand in a portable hand container. In addition, my manicure was provided while I was sitting in the pedicure chair. I felt like I was being rushed out of there. I would not recommend salon this to anyone.

Four of us went for the spa day and I am so happy that our experiance was so good and relaxing that we are taking our mom's for the mother's day. Every one in the spa were so good and very perfessional and they take pride in what they do.The atmosphere was very friendly. My recommendation for this spa is very high.

Took 2 friends with me for a spa day, and was completely embarrassed for suggesting this place. Had to go home and re-do my own mani & pedi right after. I have never experienced anything like this before. I can't believe I paid for such a terrible service.

Just relaxing expereance even my daughter loved it we will go again for valentine or mother's day or christmas or any other time.

Our visit was very good and very relaxing, no dout that what they say that you will leave the spa with boost energey and will be so relaxed it is really true. I recommend this salon & spa to every one.
