I went to the Seven Seas Spa a few days ago on a Groupon. The valet was very courteous and told me how to get down to the spa. The reception desk was very helpful. They gave me coupons for a cabana which I was told I could use another time since it had rained. I also received a coupon for a free lunch including soft drink at the pool bar. When it was time to go for my facial and massage the reception desk attendant showed me the locker room and relaxation room. There were plenty of lockers and the relaxation room was very nice. The massage and facial were also very nice and relaxing. Champagne was offered after each procedure. I bought extra spa packages for my son and his wife.

Got a great deal to spend a relaxing day at the hotel's beach and spa and enjoy a massage and facial. The hotel is busy, nice but not luxurious. The spa is decorated beautifully..too bad it is poorly designed and spa reception was disorganized. They were not quite sure what they were doing or what our package included and there weren't any lockers available to leave our things so we had to carry them out to the beach for the 4 hours until our appointments. The beach is small and crowded with heavy loud construction going on next door (not their fault, but unnerving) Not sure who designed the layout of the spa, but there was so much wasted space! Big open unused areas, while the changing/locker room was the size of a postage stamp. There were 14 lockers and 5 women filled the area completely. The steam room and showers were in the same room which made the locker room a steam room as well. They were out of flip flops so we wore our own. The quiet room was beautiful but not separate from the spa entrance and surrounded by the treatment rooms. We heard people talking and shoes walking in the hall and each tech/client coming in and out of 10 doors. That said, the treatments were great. Techs should work elsewhere!

I used a Living Social deal for a facial and massage day. This Spa is Valet only, which is definitely a pain since it is inside a very busy hotel on a beach. Afternoons are busy, so you will wait. The Spa is underground and huge. When I checked-in, I was walked to the changing room, which has the steam room inside, but had to wait around for an available locker since the very few available were taken. Then I was finally able to get to the steam room, nice but not too relaxing because of all the traffic and talking in the locker room. I then found my way to the relaxation room waiting to be called in for my massage. That room is breath taking. Beautiful design. Too bad my masseuse was 15mn late and cut my massage down to get me on time to my facial. Really?? On top of that, she forgot about time, and never had me turned around and massaged my back for the entire time!! I've had dozens of massage and that was a first. I didn't feel that relaxed after my massage and was rushed into my facial, which was also shorten to 45mn, no steaming, scrub or extraction because my "skin looked great". Again, that was a first. The specialist didn't say what products she used on my face and made no recommendation whatsoever. Disappointing experience

Went in with the girls for 2 couple massages, Col and Valeria for both of our service. The front desk staff was excellent and we were greeted by Maria and Leslie (such nice girls! I dont comprehend why they have such bad reviews) champagne check, tip included check, smiles at the front check!. Last but not least, the massages were out of the ordinary or well best we have all ever had. We also got access to the beach and pool which made everything even more relaxing. We will all def.come back and maybe in a bigger group this time. Thank you Valeria, Col , Maria and Leslie for making this evening memorable see you all soon !

Of our 2 massages, one was included as part of a hotel package. We had no bad attitude or issues with the front desk on booking, nor when I called to confirm ahead of time, nor on arrival. Checkout with Robin at the desk was great -- she advised us about a special weekday discount we didn't even know to request, sweet! The communal relaxation/waiting area is very atmospheric and calming, with oceanic blue light and lounge chairs. Locker rooms are relatively basic, not much lounge space, and decorated in a somewhat masculine brown/white color scheme, which is fine by me. The steam room is very large. Our massages (mine with Valeria, the boyfriend's with Marchelle) were superb. Valeria is small but STRONG. She was very thorough, but I never felt uncomfortable. She worked stuff out on my upper back so much that I was still recuperating days later (in a good workout kind of way). You might need to speak up if you prefer a lighter touch etc, but I booked a "deep tissue massage" and that's what I got! There were only a few other patrons, which made it all the more relaxing. A great experience during our mini-vacation! Locals, I highly recommend playing hooky from work here some weekday afternoon!

From the look of things you feel like your going to have the ultimate experience but the service is horrible! They made several mistakes with booking, had to wait an hour before receiving the correct services, no toilet paper in the restroom. Now I know why they run such inexpensive specials EVERY week. Even if they gave me free services I wouldnt bother with the hassle.

I visited the spa along with my sister for her 50th Birthday on October 12. We had the spa special. The spa is beautiful (although the robes they provided did not smell as fresh as they should have) and we throughly enjoyed our day with a most professional and competent service staff. The only serious draw back was the poor customer service at the front desk. The male assistant that checked us out was out right rude to us when we inquired about products that the facial technician was supposed to leave us at the front desk. Matter of fact he tried to sell us a totally different product even though we told him that that was not the product.The spa special included 20% discount on products. I didn't notice until I got home that I did not receive my discount so I called and left a message that same day requesting a spa credit for the over payment. To this day I haven't received a call back.

We had a group go in for a spa day and there were so many mistakes that it was really frustrating. The communication between the front desk and the service providers needs to be improved. But the products and quality of the services was wonderful. Will not go back when there are other spas with services just as good and are much more organized.

this spa has poor customer service written all over it. we weren't able to make our appointment because i was sick. as soon as i realized i called and left a message. it was late at night when i called so i expected a return call the next morning. i did not get a call back as requested so i called them. the two receptionist were quite rude and said that my calling them was not 24hrs in advance and i was to be charged. after some debating with the less than friendly Maria i discovered that i could reschedule with no fee. this experience made me not even want to try the spa which is saddening because i was really looking forward to going.

I can not tell you how pleased I am since I discovered the Seven Seas Spa at the Newport Beach Hotel. The Spa has been newly opened as an Aveda Spa for the past several months. I have used the Teachers' $20.10 Specials to get the Dashing Diva Mani/Pedi, the Facial, and the Level Headed Massage, as well. I have sent sevseral friends and relatives there to recieved the Spa's special and uniques pampering services. They have all reported how wonderful the faciliies, the Spa services, and the Staff technicians have been. The specials have been extended until the end of Sept. I am looking forward to getting the MiamiSpa Month Special and the Grand Opening Special offered by the Spa, as well. I can not wait to be pampered once again!

This spa is just so lovely to be in, and the staff for the most part was very nice. My facial was great, the massage also very enjoyable. However the mani-pedi was so disappointing. The girls were nice enough, but sloppy, and it's only been 3 days and my manicure is shot, the pedicure is starting to chip. The same for my 3 girlfriends. If I had paid full price for these services instead of using the Groupon, I would have been even more disappointed.

If you are looking for a day of "absolute pampering," this is the place! The Seven Seas Spa & Salon is brand new and has a mixture of tranquil Zen and ultra modern amenities. We had a "Sister's Day" and day that we will never forget!!! We were blown away from the moment we walked in, greeted with champagne. All of the staff members were warm, friendly and cared about our experience. It is the most relaxing environment we have ever been in, from the incredible architecture to the premier services. We each had the 1 hour message with Tatiana (tailor made to your specific needs) and the Caribbean Sugar Body Scrub with Vichy Shower. Candy did my facial and scrub. All services were excellent, what an experience!!! This amazing day even included a poolside lunch with tropical fruit smoothie. The package included use of all the amenities for the day, so we finished our day poolside of course! Free valet parking was a plus! We didn't want the day to end, so we will definitely be back soon. It was so affordable and an exceptional value! I would recommend this spa to EVERYONE!!! Thanks again!

I loved my experience at this spa. It was my birthday and I decided to treat myself to a little spa treatment. What a great idea that was. My only regret was not getting the full hour massage. That will be a definite must-do my next visit. The facility was really nice and I was greeted so warmly from the moment I stepped up to the reception desk. My massage therapist was George. He was supper nice and really did a wonderful job. Service all around was excellent. This is a great spa you won't regret going. Ask for George.
