Built in 1932, the French Manor Inn and Spa sits on 45 forested acres atop a mountainside, affording sweeping views of the northern Pocono Mountains. Nestled among lush pines and woodland, Le Spa Forêt is designed to rejuvenate guests with a tranquil, natural environment and an organic menu of services. The eco-conscious spa occupies 1,800 square feet, encompassing four treatment rooms, separate men's and women's locker rooms with showers, and an indoor, naturally filtered saltwater pool and hot tub. Spa guests also have access to a 200-square-foot fitness center.
Each of the organic-infused treatments is customized to meet guests' needs and combines all-natural products with the practice of Aromachology™ , or utilizing of scents aimed at enhancing both mind and body. Spa highlights include the Huckleberry Mountain Signature Spa Facial, a six-step ritual that includes an organic herbal facial steam, customized mask, and neck and shoulder massage. The couple's suite with fireplace sets a romantic tone for a massage treatment for two.

The Le Spa Forêt building encompasses both leisure and fitness amenities. Guests can unwind in the indoor saltwater pool or unwind in the hot tub, or work out on treadmill, elliptical, and bicycle equipment in the exercise center. Fitness fans can also sign up for private guided hikes leading throughout the picturesque Pocono Mountains landscape, or trek along the inn's own two-mile nature trails. During the winter, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, and tobogganing are available on site; the nearby Camelback Ski, Big Boulder/Jack Frost, and Shawnee Ski areas await winter sports aficionados as well. Quiet time can be spend in the resort's library.
More than 11,000 acres of lush, state parkland surround French Manor Inn, offering ample recreational activities such as fishing, hunting, mountain biking, camping, and boating. The boutique inn has 19 guest rooms and suites located throughout the Pocono property's 45 acres. Beautifully appointed accommodations include the five Spa Suites and six La Maisonneuve Suites, which come with four-poster or column-style king-size beds, wrought-iron balconies, and romantic fireplaces and Jacuzzis. For a more secluded stay, guests can enjoy lodging in the Carriage House, a short stroll from the inn's main building; the House features the inn's largest suite (Brigitte), as well as its most popular (Genevieve). Guests are provided with king or queen pillowtop beds, triple sheeting, private baths, cable TV, iPod docking stations, DVD players and a complimentary decanter of sherry. Evening turndown service with Godiva chocolates is an added treat.
The inn's AAA Four Diamond restaurant offers guests a fine dining experience and features a live pianist on weekends. Refined interiors encompass 40-foot vaulted ceilings and two oversize stone fireplaces, while the stone veranda affords spectacular views. Menus vary seasonally and feature gourmet classic and nouvelle French specialties like filet mignon topped with seared lobster, celeriac and horseradish-encrusted halibut fillet, and char-broiled Australian lamb chops coated with goat cheese. Portion-controlled spa dishes are available in-room, at the spa, or at the inn's casual café. Vegan and vegetarian diets can be accommodated upon request.
The dining room is appropriate for children ages 12 and older; proper attire is required.
