About Beauty and Body Lounge
Located in San Diego, Beauty and Body Lounge specializes in corrective skin care and Brazilian waxing. The spa was established with the goal of providing exceptional skin care treatments and waxing services. There are six treatment rooms and a separate brow lounge, where trained brow artists create new brow looks for clients. The Med Lounge Medical Spa is located inside of Beauty and Body Lounge and offers services such as Botox®, laser hair removal, and photo facials.
Services include corrective skin resurfacing treatments, advanced facials, specialty brow work, Brazilian/body waxing, laser hair removal and photofacials. Clients can also select from customized peels to correct skin concerns such as aging, acne, scarring and sun damage and to attain radiant skin. The spa has a specialty Brow Bar where artists create shaped brows and offer lash/brow tinting, lash extensions, and mineral makeup applications. PCA and Image skin-care products that combine professional ingredients with advanced corrective treatments to provide optimal results. The spa is green-friendly and many of the carefully chosen skin-care products are made with organic ingredients and are paraben free.

Dean Cromwell, M.D., the spa's medical director, graduated with his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals. He is board certified in emergency medicine and is on staff at Scripps Memorial Hospital and Alvarado Hospitals. Dr. Cromwell has undergone extensive training in cosmetic procedures including Botox®, dermal fillers, and laser treatments.
The spa's staff has a combined 20+ years of experience and is committed to helping clients achieve clear, smooth, and glowing skin.
