About Vail Marriott Mountain Resort & Spa

Nestled on 2½ acres at the foot of Vail Mountain, the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort & Spa first opened to the public in 1975. The year-round resort has more than 21,000 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center, numerous pools and Jacuzzis, and a retail store renting skis, snowboards, and bikes for exploring the surrounding region.

Following an action-packed day outdoors trekking the trails or schussing the slopes, guests can retreat to the Golden Leaf Spa for a soothing à la carte service or one of the alpine-inspired packages. The many charms of Vail Marriott include Ocotillo Prime, which serves hearty meals, and the inviting Avalanche Pub, ideal for après-ski entertainment.

The Vail Marriott is less than one mile from the Eagle-Bahn ski gondola and Vail Square's shops and restaurants.

The abundance of outdoor recreational pursuits is one of Vail Marriott's main draws. The resort and its surrounding area are a mecca for sports enthusiasts—winter opportunities include skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, snowboarding, and ice skating, and hikers of all levels can scale Vail Mountain during the summer. Horseback riding, mountain biking, kayaking, rafting, and fishing are easily accessible from the resort, and golfers can take advantage of the 12 courses located within 30 minutes. The nearby Vail Village offers numerous boutiques for shoppers to browse, and in the evenings, Vail is a hot spot for après-ski nightlife.

Vail Marriott guests can exercise indoors as well, in the resort's 1,500-square-foot fitness center, which comes equipped with treadmills, bikes, elliptical machines, and free weights, and then unwind in one of the five indoor/outdoor swimming pools and the Jacuzzi.
