Great ExperienceBy RosetteR | July 5, 2012
I went to this spa for the first time and loved it. I had the tour of Asia package treatment which consisted of a ginger mud bath and body massage & scrub. I left there with very smooth skin and feeling very relaxed. The masseuse was very professional and accomodating. I would like to go back and try some of their other services.

Rocky start but would go back againBy ShariR | June 5, 2012
My 90 minunte treatment, Tour of Asia, was supposed to start at 5:30. I had been sitting in the waiting area since 5:30 and 20 minutes later, no one has still come. Not a great way to start what is supposed to be a relaxing event. Reception addressed my concerns promptly and there was a scheduling mixup on their part. Only issue is my treatment was 80 minutes rather than 90 because I had to leave to catch my bus.
As for the treatment itself, it was heavenly. The tour of Asia consisted of bath, scrub followed by Thai massage. Bath was awesome (volcanic ash with oils), left my skin so soft, bath and scrub smelled wonderful. Thai massage was good. My first time receiving this type of treatment. In looking at pics, I thought it would be on a mat on the floor with active stretching. Instead it was on a table and seem to be trigger point therapy. It was a nice touch that the spa provided loose fitting clothes for the Thai massage since I completely forgot to bring them!

A Luxury Downtown ManhattanBy IC | May 1, 2012
I visited this spa twice. It provides comfortable environment and professional staff. The price is on a higher side. One of the receptionists was quite arrogant both times I visited.

This is the Good Life!By SpaGuy | December 17, 2011
The Setai lets you live the luxury lifestyle you only see on TV or magazines. Without a doubt the finest spa facility in Manhattan. You are greeted by their friendly staff and then taken to their lounges where you can use the stem or dry heat rooms or the hydro-pool.
Just before your treatment you are taken to a lounge to relax and offered some champagne! Really top shelf all the way. I had a wonderful 1 hour aromatherapy signature massage which I will be going back for.
It's ironic that when you leave you are literally a couple of blocks from one of the most stressful places on the planet - the New York Stock Exchange! But leaving here makes you forget about the outside world!

BlissBy ThereseC | December 11, 2011
My daughter gave me a voucher for my birthday to Setai and the entire experience was divine.
From the moment I walked in I exhaled.
I spent the day being pampered and feeling very relaxed.
Truly a lovely place - spotless, gorgeous atmosphere and fabulous service.
