AZIZ Salon and Day Spa

No, I didn't enjoy my experience at Aziz one bit. I had the same technician for massage and facial (weird, right?) and I wasn't impressed with either service. I actually complained to the manager who offered me another chance at her expense. I declined.

I visited Aziz Salon and Day Spa in the Arboretum just a few days ago. I have to say, I was really impressed with the quality of services that they provided. My esthetician did a wonderful job - I loved my skin, it was glowing! I also received a massage and a pedicure which were great as well. Can't wait to go back to Aziz and spoil myself again!

I've felt with back pains and spasms Allison in the message department was amazing she touch on my problem areas and gave my back amazing relief. I will go see her to keep up with the tight mussels and tightness. Thank you so much for informing me of what's going on. Thanks Allison at Aziz

I had few appointments scheduled with my best friend. It was my first time at Aziz (since I am new to Austin). It is always difficult to find a salon/spa that you fall in love right a way but Aziz was wonderful. I was suprised to be able to park for free in downtown, first of all. Front desk team was wonderful - I was offered a drink of my choice and even given tour (the place ins pretty big). I loooved my spa facial with Jackie and my pedicure with Samantha. I scheduled my next appointment with them and bought some great Kerastase products. Good job, Aziz!

Wents for a mani and pedi and had an absolute great time. They offered me a complimentary glass of wine and i was able to just relax and enjoy the great experience.

Went to Aziz Salon for a Microdermabrasion facial with Julie. The facial went horribly wrong and caused scarring all over my face. Immediately after the facial, Julie said there were a few scars that should go away that same night. The following morning I woke up to a face that looked like it was attacked by a vicious cat. My face looked so horrifc and infected that I immediately made an appointment with a dermatologist. This is what the Doctor had to say " "Abrasions and areas of exfoliation present down to papillary dermis, just beyond the areas one would expect with normal microdermabrasion or mild chemical peel. Worse yet, areas are present in lines and nonuniform patterns."I called the salon and explained what happened and asked for a manager or owner to call me back. No one called back. they tried to say that my skin was sensitive and reacted badly to the facial but the dermatologist clearly diagnosed a case of A FACIAL GONE HORRIBLY WRONG. Cleary not a sign of sensitive skin. The manager refunded me what i paid for the facial refused to pay for the doctor's expenses and medication. Julie and the owners of Aziz salon are NEGLIGENT, UNPROFESSIONAL, and do Not Care about disfiguring their clients.

I visited this spa on 7/24/2010 for a pedicure with a friend; Spa Finder helped me locate the spa since I was using a Spa Finder gift card. We both booked an appointment for a pedicure. The service was inconsistent. We did the express pedicure which lasts 30 minutes. Lotion was never applied to my feet but was applied to my friends. My friend also had some sort of salt scrub applied to her feet which was never applied to mine. The service I received was pretty much an extended polish change with a little bit of scrubbing on my heels. The bucket they place your feet in to soak is just that, a bucket. I have paid less at other days spas and salons and received much more treatment. Things lacking such as; jetted foot tub, lotion and massaging to feet and calves, salt scrub, cuticle softener. We also felt the selection of nail polish colors was lacking. Add ons such as a French pedicure was not even mentioned. I thought the atmosphere was very outdated and somewhat dirty. I have read other reviews about this service at this spa and others have felt the same way, I felt I should give them the benefit of the doubt. It seems as if this day spa should concentrate on what they do best which seems to be hair and not get into the "spa" aspect. If you're looking for a mini treat for your toes, go else ware.

Had a 30 deep tissue massage with Christine last week and I still feel great. She asked about problem areas and really worked them out. When the session was over she even offered tips to help keep my problem areas loose and feeling great. Overall wonderful experience. I'm just sad their south location is no more.

I GOT A SPAFINDER GC FOR A BIRTHDAY GIFT THIS YEAR AND I DECIDED TO TRY OUT AZIZ. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. I GOT A MANICURE AND PEDICURE WITH ROSA WHO WAS JUST SOO SWEET AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I ALSO GOT A HAIRCUT WITH ASHLEY AND IT WAS REALLY GREAT. SHE GAVE ME A VERY FLATTERING AND EASY TO STYLE CUT. I WILL DEFINITELY BE GOIND BACK!

I recently visited Aziz for the first time and had the Hydrafacial. My skin has never felt so soft! Also, the front desk personel was extremely helpful and pleasant. I will definatly be back soon!
