  Sonnenalp Hotel is owned and operated by the Faessler family, hoteliers in Bavaria for four generations, and is named after the family's Sonnenalp hotel and resort in the Oberallgau region of the Bavarian Alps. The Sonnenalp offers guests elegant accommodations, a distinctive selection of restaurants, and extensive recreational activities. The Sonnenalp Spa offers a variety of spa treatments, including anti-stress treatments and massage. The spa includes a juice bar, an indoor/outdoor pool and an exercise room with cardiovascular and weight-training equipment.

An invitation to wellness awaits Sonnenalp Spa guests. The European-style spa creates an open, airy vibe, with numerous windows overlooking Gore Creek, while maintaining an inviting, alpine feel with an oxygen bar and relaxation cove with a grand circular fireplace. Spa-goers can delight in a range of luxury amenities like coed whirlpools, wet lounges with steam rooms, a sauna, cold plunge and experience showers and an indoor/outdoor tranquility pool with waterfall and riverfront sun deck.

Skincare and body treatments use Pevonia and Hylunia product lines and include the Five-Star Signature Treatment, a head-to-toe relaxation ritual comprising a Sonnenalp Facial or Deluxe Facial followed by a 50-minute reflexology session. Before or after treatments, guests can dine at the full-service spa café; between services, they can visit refreshment stations filled with fruit-infused water, fresh fruit and hot teas.
