The 16,000-square-foot Spa at Silverado has 16 indoor and 3 outdoor treatment rooms. It takes advantage of the surrounding beauty of Napa Valley with skylights that admit natural light to many of the treatment rooms, tranquil courtyards, well-placed gardens, and scenic views. The airy interior, with its high ceilings and open spaces, is conducive to relaxation and meditation.
The spa's signature treatment is the Tui Na (tway NAH), one of the oldest forms of massage in the world. Developed in China, it combines acupressure and stretching to prompt an increased flow of vital energy and is the basis for many Western forms of massage. The spa also offers many other forms of massage along with body care, skin care, and salon services. The fitness center boasts cardio equipment, free weights, group fitness classes, and on-site personal trainers.

- Silverado is about 60 miles from the San Francisco International Airport and the Oakland International Airport. The Sacramento Airport is a little more than an hour from the resort, while the drive from San Jose International Airport is about an hour and half.
- Unlike many resort spas, the Spa at Silverado attracts many men. They represent 40% of the clientele.
- Clothing boutiques, premium outlet stores, antique shops, and art galleries abound in downtown Napa, as well as St. Helena and Calistoga, which are a short drive upvalley.
