Bayside Spa is a 10,000-square-foot facility with 12 treatment rooms, in addition to men's and women's locker lounges featuring eucalyptus-infused steam rooms. The extensive spa menu offers a bit of Texas charm, blending indigenous elements in signature treatments, like the Sweet Hill Country Escape, which integrates a sugar honey pecan scrub and honey glaze body wrap. Offerings include massage, body treatments, facials, and salon services.

Younger spa-guests (ages 12-17) are welcome at the spa for tailored treatments such as teen facials, massage, and mani/pedi services. The Sports Specific Massage, Signature Golfers Massage, and On-Par Executive Sportsman are some of the treatments available to satisfy the male spa-goer. Romantics can enjoy in-room services and the Lakeside Massage, overlooking LBJ Lake. Bridal and mommy-to-be packages are also available.

Horseshoe Bay Resort's seven restaurants have been created to inspire any appetite. Lantana Grill & Bar features "trans-pecos" fare with Southwestern flair, and Cap Rock Grill & Bar, overlooking water and fairways views from its bi-level outdoor dining deck, serves contemporary cuisine, including hearty, Texas-style dishes like the Half Pound Angus® Ram Burger, Down Home Fried Chicken, and Pan-Seared "Niman Ranch" Pork Tenderloin. The Yacht Club offers a fine dining experience alfresco or indoors. At the end of the day, the Y Bar, with its leather seating and soft lighting, is a trendy spot to sip cocktails. For a more informal setting, the Slick Rock Grill & Bar is a good choice, as is the seasonal Café del Sol pool bar, open from 11 a.m. to dusk during the summer; the lakefront Yacht Club Grill & Bar is open seasonally as well. Light fare and drinks are on the menu at the Cap Rock Cabana and the Yacht Club Pool. Health-conscious guests can enjoy options from the portion-controlled spa menu, available at the Bayside Spa; light options also are offered at all dining outlets.

The 7,000-acre property highlights three championship golf courses and the 18-hole Whitewater Putting Course, totaling an impressive 72 holes. Tennis amenities comprise 16 adult-designated courts and three USTA-sponsored Andy Roddick Kids' Courts. Four outdoor pools and one indoor resistance pool are scattered throughout the resort's grounds.     • Guests can fly into the private Horseshoe Bay Resort Airport & Jet Center, located one mile from the resort; complimentary shuttle service is available. The Austin Bergstrom International Airport is 60 minutes away by car, and the San Antonio International Airport is 90 minutes away by car. Airport transfers can be arranged for a fee.
    • Spa guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
    • Rentals are available for pontoon boats, ski boats, WaveRunners, kayaks, and cabin cruisers at the resort's marina.
