  Natural Beauty Derma Spa (NBD) believes in and practices a unique East meets West approach to rejuvenating skin. It focuses on treating skin from the inside out by detoxifying mind and body, restoring natural beauty in order for clients to look well, live well and feel well.

  At approximately 1,800 square feet, the Japanese-inspired oasis has four treatment rooms where guests can luxuriate, heal, and educate themselves on the importance of proper skin care. The entrance is designed in a fluid manner allowing clients to feel the positive energy flow as soon as they walk through the door. As clients enter the Shinto Shrine, they are greeted by Quan Yin, the Buddhist goddess of compassion, guarding retention rocks, of which guests make take one home with them.

  Using state-of-the-art laser and light equipment in a medically supervised environment, NBD offers treatments for both men and women. Services include microderm infusions, light chemical peels, Botox, Restylane, Radiesse, and other injectables. Complimentary consultations are also offered, where an NBD specialist creates a personalized treatment plan based on the client's unique 2D Canfield Image, a technology in healthcare imaging.

  An acupuncturist, nutritionist, and medical message therapist are on staff to help redirect clients' chi and produce the energy the body and skin needs. All treatments aim to detoxify the body and produce a radiant glow outside.

  Products carried by the spa include Obagi-C Rx, Image Skin Care, glominerals makeup, Herbasway antioxidant teas, crystal peel microdermabrasion bars, and Relax and Wax's Get the Bump Out of Here.

David Kavesteen, M.D.

David Kavesteen, MD, NBD's medical director, is a board-certified physician practicing medicine since 2001. He attended the School of Medicine at SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn, NY, and completed his residency at the New York University Medical Center.

Dr. Kavesteen has pursued additional education and training focused on the prevention of skin damage and maintaining skin's natural beauty. In order to do so, he launched Natural Beauty Derma Spa, an entire facility dedicated to skincare and helping clients take care of themselves and their skin in a luxurious, comfortable, and professional environment.

Myung Park is the spa's acupuncturist, specializing in pain management, weight loss, allergies, and the latest in infertility methods. Born in Korea, Park studied Aerospace Engineering at Seoul National University. Intrigued by his family's trade of 35 years, he relocated to America and pursued acupuncture. Park graduated with his BPS and MS in Acupuncture from the New York College of Health Professions and has been carrying on his family's legacy for the past 9 years.
