The Mirage, a fixture on the Las Vegas Strip since 1989, blends relaxation and entertainment in an innovative design aesthetic reminiscent of a tropical hideaway. The AAA Four-Diamond hotel's architectural centerpiece, a lagoon with an erupting artificial volcano, makes for a dramatic entryway, while inside, a 90 foot-high atrium welcomes guests with waterfalls, blossoming orchids, banana trees, and more. Further exploring leads to numerous dining options, shopping boutiques, and an outdoor pool area with saltwater pools, private cabanas, and a café. The 20,000-square-foot spa offers a full menu of treatments, and guests can also reserve an appointment at the Kim Vô salon.

About 100,000 square feet is reserved for gaming, and nightly entertainment stars everyone from Jay Leno to Justin Timberlake to the Cirque du Soleil® cast. The hotel holds more than 3,000 accommodations, including one- to three-bedroom villas.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the hotel, the Spa at the Mirage is designed to be a relaxed ambience - white tiles and walls offset black and gray hues, and guests enter through white birch gardens. Spa treatments are taken in 17 treatment rooms (in-room massage is also offered), and the facility is designed with separate men's and women's wet areas featuring steam rooms, saunas, whirlpools, and meditation lounges; designated locker areas sport shower facilities.

Spa staples include the 50-minute Signature Birch Detoxifying Wrap, infused with minerals, vitamins and protein to boost the immune system and open the senses. A good number of massage modalities are available, and skincare services include facials, collagen masks, and LED light therapy. For those eager to return to the tables, there are quickie massage and facial treatments.

I went for a spa pedi and a massage. Place is very big, but quiet and comfortable. Services were wonderful, therapists friendly and very accommodating. Hot tubs a plenty, showers and dressing rooms ample. Overall very very clean. Would definitely recommend.

Convenient resort spa...

We stayed at the Mirage last month and got to spend some time in the spa. The decor of the spa was very calming; the different temperature jet tubs were very relaxing, and they had plenty of beverages and little snacks to sustain. All the staff in the back were very friendly. The girls at the front desk in the shop part were a little off, but it didn't really effect the whole experience. We had both gotten the Swedish massage and facial package. I didn't get her name, but the woman who gave me the massage did a decent job. The facial was even better- the head massage nearly had me in a daze. :) Overall, it was a nice experience. Not the best spa on the strip, but certainly convenient if you are staying in the Mirage.

Excellent massage service

I'm sorry to say I do not remember the woman who gave me my massage but she was excellent. I have RA and she not only relaxed my muscles and eased my joints but she also took months of stress off in the most professional way possible. I did not utilize anything other than the seating area, shower and massage area so I only rated the fitness facilities as being good. One suggestion, someone should monitor the shower area more routinely. I found dirty towels and a previously used razor on the floor of one of the shower stalls. It wasn't busy being that my friend and I were the last customers of the day and no one was there when we first came in. Other than that, the staff I encountered were friendly and accomodating. I would highly suggest this spa to my friends and would love to come in again.

I really enjoyed this spa. I had a massage and facial. The spa was pretty big and wasn't crowded. Massage was great - good pressure. Overall I liked it and would go back.
