    Radiant MedSpa offers anti-aging and skin rejuvenating treatments in addition to laser hair removal, tattoo removal, permanent makeup, and a liquid facelift. The four-room, 1,800 square foot facility offers its treatments six days a week in Seattle's quaint Wallingford neighborhood.

    Services include three types of injectables, chemical peels and advanced skin care treatments such as various types of micro peels, laser and light treatments, and intense-pulsed light treatment.

    Radiant MedSpa uses the Light Sheer laser by Luminous, which produces the highest level of laser light to accomplish hair reduction in fewer treatments. The spa also uses Quantum IPL by Luminous for a variety of advanced skin care treatments including sun spot removal, skin tightening, spider vein treatment, acne scar removal and more.

    While most tattoo removals are done by laser, this spa utilizes natural chemicals that pull the ink pigment out to the surface skin, which is then removed with a scab formation. Radiant MedSpa offers free consultations for this service as well.

    In addition to the services listed above, the spa also offers post-surgical treatments. The post lymphatic facial, recommended two weeks after surgery, allows lymph build up to flush through the system and reduces bruising, swelling and increases healing time. The IPL photo facial is recommended to promote skin rejuvenation by using light therapy to increase collagen and microblast action, to reduce pore size, smooth pigment and remove sun spots and hyper-pigmentation. The post-healing facial focuses on hydration and healing and the spa also offers a customized post-surgery home care kit, which includes products approved by Dr. Santos, Radiant MedSpa's medical director.

    The sleek and modern medical spa also offers the HCG Slimtrack diet and carries Image Skin Care, Biogenesis and Cellu Sculpt products.

I started laser hair removal so I would be swimsuit ready by the time summer hit. I've had two sessions on my underarms, legs, and bikini line. After two treatments, about 75% of the hair is gone, and I'll probably finish up the last parts with one more session. Then, last time, I also got a prescription for Lasstise. After three weeks, I can see difference, where they are longer and thicker. My boyfriend noticed, and he's clueless at girly stuff, so that was a good sign. Otherwise, the prices are reasonable, nice facility. Oh, I'll also add their knowledge seems pretty deep, and they were patient in answering my questions, and didn't rush me into a descision.

I chose the HCG Diet at Radiant MedSpa and I lost 35 pounds in two months--amazing. I worked with their friendly staff and have kept the weight off for one and a half years. I have never been so happy. The program kept hunger cravings away and I still got to eat a lot of my favorite foods. The shakes were good and, as I mentioned, the supportive staff was great. I still call to check in and get tips to stay on track. Highly recommend!

Down to earth spa and hCG diet review: As a spa, the place is quaint and beautiful. It's conveniently located and has a great atmosphere. It offers a large variety of services which could be expanded but in general are diverse enough to take care of most of your general spa needs. Staff were friendly and wonderful to interact with. Loved the peels I continue to receive there. For the services they offer, they have a variety of techniques to choose from. For the hCG diet, don't expect it to be a easy ride all the way through. This is my second time on the hCG diet and I love it, but you need to expect to work at it, too. The program they offer uses sublingual drops which go under your tongue. The inconvenience comes from the wait period, but it is far more comfortable than using needles! I lost 8 pounds the first week and 6 the second. The last week I lost 6 pounds as well. The staff are there to help you whenever you have questions, etc etc. In general, the program they offer and support they provide are excellent, but you have to be dedicated, and that can be hard for some people. Overall, I give them 5/5 for their excellent services, good customer service and great atmosphere.

I went to this medical spa for thier HCG program. I've tried other places but this spa offers the best program for the best price. The natropath had great info on some of my other issues and was very kind and supportive. The receptionist is also fantastic at rescheduling my appointments as I have a very busy work schedule - she never gave me a hard time.

I felt like they just saw dollar signs when they looked at me. My facial didn't really make my skin look any better and I got conflicting information about the HCG diet, a person on the phone told me one thing and the lady that helped when I went in told me something completely different.

I started the HCG program at Radiant MedSpa and Weight Loss and had the best support system! The doctor was very helpful in getting me on track and helping me with the program. I felt tons of support from the staff and they are always willing to help. Because of the support I received I was able to be succussful on the diet program and feel great! I also tried the the micro peel and loved it! The estetician was great and really knew what she was doing to help my skin look better! I will be going back to Radiant MedSpa for all future services!

Credentials

Dr. David Santos, the spa's medical director who is also a double board-certified facial plastic and head and neck surgeon, began his practice in Seattle in 1994. He specializes in aging face restoration with particular focus of rhytidectomy (facelift), rhinoplasty (nose surgery), as well as all other aspects of facial plastic and cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Santos is a member of many organizations throughout the region and country, including the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Washington State Medical Association, King County Medical Society, and the Northwest Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Dawn Hunter, director of esthetics, chiropractor, and medical esthetician for the spa, has over 10 years of experience in healthcare and esthetics. A licensed esthetician and former chiropractor, she is also training in advanced techniques in permanent makeup and medical micropigmentation, advanced skin care and peels. Dr. Hunter has been involved in permanent make up/medical micropigmentation for over three years and non-laser tattoo removal. Laser and IPL are also her specialty.

Dr. Anna Krauthoefer, director of naturopathic, naturopathic physician and acupuncture, is a graduate of Bastyr University and oversees the HCG Diet program with expertise in the area of natural healthcare and weight loss. Dr. Krauthoefer also has a dual degree in acupuncture and provides clients with a holistic approach to weight loss, hormone rebalancing and general well being.

Anna Bazca is a registered nurse.
