Set along Millionaire's Row in Miami Beach, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Fontainebleau Miami Beach has been an iconic city landmark since its original 1954 debut, when it became a hotspot for prominent entertainers and celebs and the setting for films like James Bond. A $1-billion rebirth in 2008 infused the glamorous golden era with an ultramodern feel, featuring award-winning international dining, the LIV nightclub and lounges, an oceanfront pool setting, and the Fontainebleau Shops that cater to a new cosmopolitan crowd. The 40,000-square-foot Lapis, the Spa at Fontainebleau, welcomes a communal spa oasis where guests can socialize and rejuvenate with water-thermal treatments.

The 1,504 guest rooms, housed within the hotel's two legacy towers and two all-suite towers, are equipped with sleek technology. Meeting space encompasses 127,000 square feet.

The extensive spa menu taps into water-thermal therapies, as well as facials, massage, detox and slimming treatments, and couple's rituals. This Spa is just like heaven. I went with two other friends and I don't have a single complaint. Huge locker rooms with great reception areas and relaxation rooms and the amenities are just incredible compared to other spas in this category. I loved the rain room and the co-ed pool. You can also enjoy the pools outside with the pool pass which is an added plus. It's definitely worth the trip and you won't be disappointed. Everything was clean and impressive and the therapists were super friendly and well trained. Great, and you know it!

i visited this spa because I was completely stressed out and I just needed to get away. The minute I arrived they welcomed me and gave me a tour of the facilities. I was given a robe, slippers and a locker. The amenities were incredible and exactly what I always wanted in a spa! I was able to relax prior to my services. I began by showering then headed to the rain section. I walked through the cascading rain section a couple of times and the pulsing rain immediately washed away my stress. The eucalyptus steam room was also great to lay down and close my eyes. The spa has towels everywhere and cucumber slices for your eyes. I enjoyed the fresh fruits and tea. I loved my massage! Nancy was professional and had applied just the right amount of pressure during my massage. I spent the entire day at the spa and even enjoyed lunch outside by their pools. Looking forward to my next visit!
