About Lapis, the Spa at Fontainebleau
Set along Millionaire's Row in Miami Beach, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Fontainebleau Miami Beach has been an iconic city landmark since its original 1954 debut, when it became a hotspot for prominent entertainers and celebs and the setting for films like James Bond. A $1-billion rebirth in 2008 infused the glamorous golden era with an ultramodern feel, featuring award-winning international dining, the LIV nightclub and lounges, an oceanfront pool setting, and the Fontainebleau Shops that cater to a new cosmopolitan crowd. The 40,000-square-foot Lapis, the Spa at Fontainebleau, welcomes a communal spa oasis where guests can socialize and rejuvenate with water-thermal treatments.
The 1,504 guest rooms, housed within the hotel's two legacy towers and two all-suite towers, are equipped with sleek technology. Meeting space encompasses 127,000 square feet.

Renewal through the natural healing properties of water is at the heart of Lapis, the Spa at Fontainebleau. Designed around the signature Lapis Ritual Water Elements, the spa's hydrotherapy amenities include a co-ed seaweed extract-enriched mineral pool and water jet bath, elements rain tunnel, deluge shower, and rain room with shower. The extensive spa menu taps into water-thermal therapies, as well as facials, massage, detox and slimming treatments, and couple's rituals. A highlight of the spa includes facial and body treatments by celebrity aesthetician Tracie Martyn; hair and nail care can be taken in the salon.
There are 30 treatment rooms in the 40,000-square-foot spa, as well as a eucalyptus steam room and hammam benches. Though the spa encourages a communal spa-ing experience, separate men's and women's locker rooms with showers are available.
