  Each guest room boasts a private plunge pool and sea vistas, and fine dining can be enjoyed at one of three on-site restaurants. Relaxation centers around the resort's infinity-edge swimming pools and the award-winning ocean-view spa, which offers indigenous- and celestial-inspired signature spa services.

  Prior to arrival, one of Capella Pedregal's personal assistants will contact guests to help plan their stay, which may include swimming, snorkeling, yoga, and golf. Downtown Cabo San Lucas, with its shopping, nightclubs, and restaurants, is just minutes away.

The award-winning Auriga Spa's innovative treatments are inspired by local culture, and use natural or organic products infused with indigenous ingredients sourced from the sea and even the resort's own gardens. An opportunity to consult with a curandera allows spa-goers a glimpse into Mexican folk healing traditions, while four Auriga signature treatments, based upon each phase of the moon, balance guests' wellbeing with nature. Water and sound therapy treatments round out the spa menu, along with select wellness programs targeted toward a specific aim, including stress management, inner and outer beauty, and couples. Beauty treatments can be experienced in the Julien Farel salon.

The 12,000-square-foot spa, decorated in elegant Baja style, has 10 treatment rooms, including a couple's suite; a private spa pool enhances the tranquil setting. Designated men's and women's wet treatment areas feature saunas, steam rooms, ice rooms, and Jacuzzis.

The spa invites guests ages 18 and older, or 13 years and older if accompanied by an adult.

Along with the award-winning spa, guests can relax in the comfort of their room, which features ocean views, open terraces, handcrafted Mexican decor, and private infinity-edge plunge pools. Guests can choose from no less than seven different room layouts, including deluxe rooms, spacious suites, and residential-style casitas and villas, both of which share a beachfront setting. Amenities of the 66 rooms include LCD TVs, wireless Internet access, telescopes, rainforest and handheld showers, and separate bathtubs; select lodging features a fireplace. Villa accommodations also include personal assistant and childcare services.

Noveau Mexican cuisine at the resort's signature restaurant, Don Manuel's, is inspired by local organic produce, and the inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of a Mexican-style hacienda, is complemented by an open cocina, or kitchen, hand-painted tiles and china, and granite tables adorned in Mexican linens. Guests can enjoy the indoor setting, or opt for dining alfresco, either on the oceanfront patio or on the beach. El Farallón serves seafood specialties and a "catch of the day" menu in a dramatic setting, suspended cliffside over the Pacific Ocean. At the poolside eatery Beach Club, diners can feast on light fare, grilled options, and other coastal dishes.

Guests of Capella Pedregal can spend their days gallivanting by land or by sea. A plethora of area activities caters to both the thrill seeker and more conservative guest and include horseback riding, hiking, fishing, tennis, zip lining, and hang gliding. Tee times also can be arranged at one of the several championship golf courses in the region. Closer to home, the resort's fitness center, located above the spa, embraces new technology, where guests can select a video personal trainer while exercising on Technogym equipment. Other workout options include private or group yoga classes. Water aficionados have their pick among the many oceanic excursions, from snorkeling and scuba diving to deep-sea fishing and sailing to whale watching trips and swimming with dolphins. The resort's own aquatic area comprises three swimming pools: two infinity-edge oceanfront pools and one strictly for spa-goers.
