  The Marival Residences and World Spa is a luxury resort in the Riviera Nayarit, not far from the area's decadent beaches and azure surf and 15 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport. Guests have the option of either European-plan or all-inclusive stays, which include all meals, unlimited selected excursions and golf green fees, and exclusive access to the VIP Beach Club.

  Marival's 169 accommodations or "residences" come with fully equipped kitchens, airy terraces overlooking garden or ocean views, and, in some cases, private swimming pools. During the day, the 900-square-meter World Spa, where a diverse menu merging classic rituals from nine cultures - Mexico, Italy, Japan, Turkey, Russia, Bali, Thailand, India and the U.S. - waits to be explored. At night, the rooftop Insú Sky Lounge beckons guests with its striking views, reflection pool, wall-to-wall fireplace, and sumptuous menu of fare and cocktails.

Melange World Spa befits its name, melange, meaning "mixture of components" in French, by drawing inspiration for treatments and interiors from around the globe. Each of the nine treatment rooms, including one couple's suite, are designed to reflect a different country, from Mexico and the U.S. to Italy and Japan to Bali and Thailand - as are each of the nine signature treatments.

Specialized therapies include Balinese, shiatsu, and Thai massage, a Turkish bath ritual, vinotherapy service, and body treatment with Mayan mud, indigenous agave, and cacao.

The extensive menu also celebrates thalassotherapy, Ayurvedic therapies, anti-aging and deep-cleansing facials, body treatments, nail care, and massage services. Treatments combine a wealth of products, including Repêchage, Jamu, and OPI.

A boutique, steam room, sauna, and locker rooms with showers are also available in the 900-square-meter spa. Complimentary refreshments can be enjoyed in relaxation areas.

Marival offers a diverse selection of residences, from garden-front accommodations to penthouses with up to four bedrooms and rooftop pools to seven villas with private pools. Each room has a warm, contemporary charm with a full-service kitchen, lovely terrace, and garden, pool, or sea views. Accommodations offer such amenities as high-speed WiFi Internet access, plasma TVs, and even complimentary childcare services.

The hotel's five restaurants are excellent places to savor gourmet creations, sip margaritas and chat with friends, and enjoy meals poolside. Omaggio International Restaurant, an elegant venue nestled amid blossoming foliage and water features, highlights specialties from around the world, while Lemmon Grass Casual Cuisine offers guests the chance to eat without ever leaving the pool area. Additional options include the Residents' VIP Beach Club and the rooftop Insú Sky Bar, a stylish eatery by day and hip lounge by night. Diners opting to forgo the hotel's all-inclusive plan can try Nicksan, which serves a sushi menu.

Marival's aquatic area centers around an expansive, winding free-form pool lined with loungers, while a kiddie pool and adults-only Jacuzzi sit nearby. The pool zone creates a calming oasis to the property, situated so guests can enjoy vibrant garden views while taking a swim. The Residents' VIP Beach Club offers its own bit of luxury, with an open-air rooftop and beachside services.

Marival devotes more than 150 square meters to its wellness area: The full-service gym sports strength training and cardio equipment, along with free weights, and a Pilates studio offers four reformer stations. Personal training is also available.

There is one tennis court on site, and daring guests can sign up for snorkeling and scuba diving jaunts (additional charges apply). All-inclusive packages include select tours, including dolphin and sea lion encounters and zip-lining canopy and kontiki boat ride adventures. By land or by sea, activities like championship golf, beautiful beaches, prime shopping, and seaside pueblo villages, are available within close proximity of Marival.

Wedding venues include garden and beach settings, and a convention center can be found at Marival's sister property three blocks away.
