Trying to get an app for the 3rd time.. Really?
The lady that answers the phone seems to be always talking from a cell phone, does not offer you options or says she will call back..?
I am not trying anymore.. if the service over the phone is poor I do not expect any better in person..
Sad.

i dont get call backs from them and i once called for a pedicure and they told me that they don't do pedicures after 1pm. what?!

I was surprised when I walked it, as it does seem a bit more like a nail salon at first glance. However, the environment is very warm and relaxing and I found the staff very attentive. The hot stone massage was fabulous and there is a private closed off room for pedicures (rather than rows of chairs where you hear each other's cell calls). I was pleasantly surprised, felt the spa offered good value, and can't wait to return.

I just visted Berthas European spa, Its newly renovated with an excellent staff and with warm and inviting atmosphere.I greatly enjoyed my facial done by Bertha - she was very thorough and professional and the experience was paramount.I had wonderful treatment and I would definitely return to Berthas again to try other treatments.

I will never go to Bertha's Spa again. The atmosphere does not portray one of a spa, it is more like a nail and hair salon. When I got my facial, Bertha spoke to me and other workers the entire time, leaving the room multiple times; it was not the relaxing experience it is meant to be. She also kept me waiting for a half hour without so much as an explanation as to why, just that she was "in the back". When she finally came out and I told her I was upset I was attended to a half hour late, she responded by telling me she has her own problems and doesn't need my complaining. Needless to say, I would never recommend this to anyone and will never go back again.

I was surprised by my visit to Bertha's European Spa. From the outside, this spa looks inviting. However, I found that it was cramped, and a little lacking in cleanliness. I also had the impression that this spa is geared more towards manicures/pedicures and hairstyling, despite the fact that they advertise massage and facial services. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted warmly, however I was left to wait for close to 20 minutes while the staff milled about, chatting. When I was finally invited into the room for my facial appointment, I was somewhat shocked by how substandard the environment was. The bed was uncomfortable, and the room looked quite dingy. I probably should have left at that point. However, I continued with my appointment. I do not remember the name of the woman who gave me a facial, to be honest. But I do have to say that it felt quite rushed, lasted closer to a half hour than the full hour it should have been - and the woman spent more time outside of the room chatting, than she did in the room performing the facial. I was left for two periods of at least 10 minutes - during the steam treatment, and during the mask. Generally during facials, hand and foot massages are given during these periods. On the whole, I found this massage so unsatisfactory that I would not recommend that anyone visit this spa. There are plenty of other good, quality spas in Westchester, where you are guaranteed to get what you pay for.
