I heard about TDM by word of mouth. My 1st experience at The Dailey Method Bucktown was welcoming and helpful. Natalia gave me a tour of the facilities after I checked in. I booked the Principles level since I was new to TDM. I've done barre classes before, but Principles is a good introduction to The Dailey Method as it focused on my form first with the option to then add movement if I felt comfortable. I have attended a handful of Mixed level classes now, and the instructors give modifications for the workout so I can challenge myself further. There are also modifications for pregnant or injured women, which is great. TDM is definitely a challenging workout even without the more difficult modifications!
I've always been able to sign up for a class on week nights since there are different times to choose from. The locker rooms are clean and have plenty of lockers, towels, and toiletries. The instructors are fun and helpful - they come up to me and correct my form as needed so that I can maximize my workout. TDM is highly enjoyable. I like the workout playlists a lot! The music tempo goes with the flow of the workouts and makes it more fun. I walk out of class feeling great every time!
