Sadly Disappointed!

Horrible!!!!! I was very disappointed in my service today. I had a manicure and pedicure. The technician was wonderfully nice, but when it came to skill I was embarrassed for her and could have done a better job....being an esthetician and working in a Medical Spa myself I should know. I wish I would have just gone to an asian salon nearby and paid 45$ for these two services and gotten better service....I ended up paying around 180$ for this manicure and pedicure (which 18% tip is included automatically). The manicure seemed rushed and no hot towels were used. The massage was a waist of time and the paint job was all over my cuticles (she didn't have a steady hand...isn't that a requirement). When I checked out the lady didn't even ask my how my service was and when she told me the price and that the tip would be included I bit my tongue but told her that the price did not justify the service (she then should have asked me if it was okay). Would never recommend this spa to anyone. If you go just pay to sit in the sauna and enjoy the view or go to a nearby spa.

A wonderful Getaway

Let me start with "I showered outside." That was the END and I did not want to leave! From the moment you enter the spa, you are enveloped in a tranquil setting, Carla the spa attendant was wonderful and showed us everything. Nice touched like mint and citrus in the water, amazing little delights in the waiting area like goat cheese and cake pops (OK, I had more than ONE) Bill did my massage and Andrea did my daughter. They were fantastic and put us to sleep. And the tranquil pool area made me just want to sit there for hours. I would recommend this place, and the fact that they take spa finder certificates is a plus!

I recently went to this spa for a body treatment and was surprised at the improved variety of services on their spa menu. As always the facility was extremely clean and the staff helpful. Being a local to the area I like that there is a discount available for midweek services. The women's areas are completely private and serene.

Nice Facility

It's a nice facility, part of a large resort and you can tell they get a lot of people through here. The massage, body scrub and facial I got were again "nice". The facility is in a building away from the hotel so it's quiet and pleasant, very pretty and relaxing. This is part of a resort location so the pricing reflects that.

I enjoyed the pool most of the time I was here. Gets crowded on Sat afternoons so get there early. Martini in the lounge was pricy, but staff is friendly. Not a lot of onsite food choices, but good resteraunts are nearby. Room was clean, but I was charged for mini bar items that I did not consume. Had to call back and get charges removed from my credit card.

Aqua Serena Spa at the Hyatt Grand Champions, is Indan Well's best kept secret. The facility is immaculate, the staff is very proffesional and friendly. The Serene environment is a perfect way to spend a day or even an fternoon. The facials are wonderful! Will definetly visit again in the near future. Aqua Serena Spa is everything you would expect at a resort and more!

Good but not spectacular

My biggest issue with the spa was that there were no Yoga classes. Hyatt offers this yoga away program on the in-room TVs for a cost and apparently that has prevented them from finding a highly qualified yoga instructor (I guess that's the only way Hyatt will approve yoga classes at the spa). My other issue was the lack of nail colors for a manicure and pedicure. The colors were dated and somewhat old. My manicure dried very poorly but the spa director comped me for that.

Big property with golf course. New spa is just great. Nice fitness facility and fitness classes. Spa locker rooms and treatments are very good. This is a big resort hotel so just know that is what you are going to visit. Good dining, lots of people but it is the Palm Springs area.
