Pole Kitten (Level 1)

This is where the fun begins!  Classes start with 10 - 15 minutes of warm-ups, strength conditioning, and flexibility training.  You'll quickly gain confidence with the dance pole by learning various sensual walks, transitions, body rolls, and standing turns.  Once you're confidently moving your body around the pole, you'll bring these skills to the next level by learning to gracefully perform forward and backward spins on both sides of your body.  Several methods to complete spins and transition to floorwork or standing are taught to tie everything together and help you create your own pole dance routines! If you have never been to a pole dance class before, or have not attended classes at Teaze, please join us for Level 1 pole.  Our instructors speak with you about moving onto further levels.

You've got the basics down - now it's time to take your spins and climbs to new heights! In Level 2 pole, you'll learn advanced spins and put them together in combinations with other spins. Climbing takes center stage, and you'll learn to climb the pole and pose aerially. You might even learn to flip yourself upside-down!Previous experience in Level 1 Pole Kitten in required.

Pole Siren/ Pole Seductress (Level 4/5)

Level 4/5 is a class for those proficient in our level 1, 2 and 3 classes. More difficult combinations are learned. Climbing up the pole and then becoming inverted is added. Level five adds holding the lower half of the body off of the ground, using only the arms on the pole. This can be achieved by either becoming inverted first, or beginning from an upright position.

Pole Minx (Level 3)

Our Pole Minx (Level 3) class is for those who are proficient in our Level 1 and Level 2 classes. After stretching and warming up, we begin with learning inversions. You learn several ways to climb, invert, and get back down to the ground. You learn several inverted tricks and combinations.

Pilates Teaze & Risque Ballet

A combination of 2 great classes. This is a beginning to intermediate level mat class that offers all of the basics that you will find in a Pilates Class, while adding some teasing exercises to spice things up. Pilates was named after it's founder, Joseph Pilates and focuses on stretching, lengthening, and core (abs). It is designed to make dancers' bodies more lengthened and lean. Why should dancers be the only ones to enjoy this great class?

Pole Fitness

Pole Fitness is available for all levels of pole dancers who want to improve their strength and endurance. In this class, the pole is used not for spinning but instead as a resistance apparatus.  Your instructor has countless exercises to keep the class new and exciting every week.  Pole and mat exercises are chosen to build muscles that are specifically used in pole dance.  Upper body, lower body, and core are all worked in each class to tone you up and give you the perfect pole dance physique!

Hoop Fit Hottie

Our weighted hula hoop class. This class is packed with stretches, cardio, and a full body workout. We use the hoops to work the muscles in our arms, shoulders, backs, thighs, rear, and of course our abs. Becuase of it's non-stop hip circles and steps, it gets all of the benefits of a step aerobics class with a fun twist! (Hula Hoops Are Provided)

Chair Dance and Strip Teaze

Our chair dance & strip tease class offers a stretching and warm-up. We utilize ways to work out and do sexy moves on the chair. The strip tease portion introduces ways to strip down over clothes, teaching various ideas on costuming and avoiding costume stripping problems in the performance. This class is great for those who want a fun, sexy workout. It is also fun for those who want to do something different for their partner or for a group performance.
