Pilates Equipment

Each class is either a private or shared equipment class and lasts 50 minutes. Private classes are one on one with an instructor. Shared equipment classes have 2 to 4 people with one instructor. Private classes are required for all potential members of a shared equipment class unless two or three new people are starting at once. The Pilates equipment utilized during equipment classes include:  Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels. Our newest CORE REFORM Classes require an online sign up as they are limited to 4 participants.

COURSE SUMMARY CORE BARRE ‘On The Slanted Wedge’™ is a group based program that is based on the applications and principles of the original CORE BARRE™ certification and is the newest workshop in the system of Smart Movement®.  The workshop is available to CORE BARRE™Certified Smart Movement® Instructors.  The 55 minute class follows the same format and syllabus as the CORE BARRE™ class. CORE BARRE ‘ON THE REFORMER JUMPING BOARD’ with the Mini Wedge

CORE 'Ballet Barre'

COURSE SUMMARY: CORE ‘Ballet Barre’ is a group based exercise program that emphasizes proper ballet technique.  The workout demonstrates and teaches the protocol and format for designing a ballet syllabus at the barre.  A warm-up is performed in a standing center bringing an awareness to posture and form while warming up large muscle groups and bringing mobility to the spine.
