Yoga Therapeautics - 60 minutes
In therapeutic yoga sessions, Rachel Teannalach, an Anusara-Inspired Yoga Instructor, works with each client to address his or her specific needs. This means that your session might include mostly bodywork, mostly yoga postures, or in most cases, some combination of the two. Unlike a massage, the sessions often require active participation on the part of the client, empowering him or her to participate in the healing process. These in depth sessions are designed to both realign your body in ways that will immediately relieve pain and tension, as well as give you the long-term tools you need to continue healing and feeling free in your body. For those free from therapeutic concerns, private sessions are a wonderful and effective way to begin or deepen a home practice, and to explore more challenging yoga postures safely.
