Barre Fusion

A full body workout that fuses the principles and techniques of ballet barre work, pilates conditioning, isometric weight training and yoga stretches to create a fun and challenging class. The ballet barre work will target your glutes, quads and calves, taking your lower body to complete fatigue and creating long, lean muscle mass. The pilates portion of class focuses on strengthening your core and lower back with an intense abdominal series while also incorporating upper and lower body sculpting exercises. With isometric weight training every movement is small and controlled helping to quickly develop new muscle mass while simultaneously burning fat and protecting your joints. Spin

Spinning is a cardiovascular cycling workout on a stationary bike where you can burn anywhere from 400-600 calories per hour. It is primarily an anaerobic exercise, pulling energy from your reserves and building up your muscular endurance over an extended period of time. Besides the cardio and weight loss benefits, spinning also uses large muscle groups in your legs, toning your thighs, hamstrings, and calves. In addition to spinning, strength training is recommended so that you don't burn away muscle mass, but rather burn the fat you want to get rid of.
