Restorative Hatha Yoga

Each class will explore, in depth, a difference part of the body systems, for example back (spine), hips, balance, and shoulders. Asanas (postures) will use support and props, when necessary, in order to allow the body's muscles and tendons to gently open and release. Class is based mostly on the teaching of BKS Iyengar. Iyengar's method of Hatha Yoga is characterized by precision of body alignment, the use of props (blocks, straps, blankets, mats, and chairs) to help accomplish and master Yoga poses.
