About Equilibrium Studio
Welcome to Equilibrium Studio , a results driven pilates and barre studio, a state of balance, and the place to transform your body. Equilibrium is the exclusive STOTT PILATES licensed Training Center for the State of Michigan, and we have been training clients and teachers at our Bloomfield location since 1997! In 2012 Equilibrium expanded and opened a pilates studio in The Franklin Athletic Club, one of the premier tennis and fitness clubs in the country.

Continuous movement to great music keeps your heart rate up during intervals of aerobic activity, strength training, and balance training, utilizing BOSUS, weighted bars, hand weights, TRX, medicine balls and more. Intervals are timed so that you never get hurt keeping up with the most fit member of class; you do as many repetitions as you can safely do in the interval time making this class great for people who enjoy a personal challenge and want to monitor their progress weekly. Healthy Backs Circuit Training
The key to this unique class is that all exercises are programmed and performed under the supervision of an orthopedic Physical Therapist who is also a certified Pilates Instructor. If you are an active person with a history of orthopedic injury or pain and you want to work safely while being challenged, this is a class for you. Healthy Backs Circuit is in our Cardio Circuit room and you will use the spring wall units, chairs, balls, foam rollers, and TRX. Xtend Barre Open
Open means that people of various levels can attend. Clients should be familiar with the Xtend Barre Technique but are given options for their fitness level and experience. Advanced Reformer
During this 55 minute class you will use all of the various reformer components and accessories to intensify the reformer repertoire and provide a stimulating workout. Exercises in the Advanced repertoire require greater strength, stability and flexibility. Also taught - Muscular initiation and sequencing of Advanced level exercises, Multiple variations for variety and intensity, 70 exercises. This class will have limited walk-ins allowing for weekly progression. Taught by our most experienced senior instructors.
