    With thousands of new locations, you’ve come to the right place to find a Pilates studio. Originally developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates as a rehabilitation method, the popularity of this core-strengthening and spine-aligning workout has since spread around the world like wildfire. The practice, often called the Pilates method, is meant to improve mental and physical wellbeing, increase flexibility, and strengthen muscles through a series of controlled movements and breathing that engage both the body and mind. Madison Pilates Mat

When you do Pilates on the Mat, you must support your body weight with gravity as resistance through the movements. Small apparatus such as balls, rollers, rings and bands may be used with various mat exercises. Beginner mat is open to all fitness levels focusing on the Pilates' principles of breathing, body positioning and movement while learning the essential core exercises of the Pilates mat routine.

Flying Yoga

Course Description: It is with GREAT pleasure to welcome Whaka and Sara back to Movement Center. Flying Yoga is a delightful blend of partner yoga, acrobatics, and partner Thai Massage. One partner, the flyer, is supported in aerial asanas and inversions. You don’t have to be a yogi or an acrobat. All you need is openness and a spirit of adventure! Expect to walk out of the class feeling lighter, with improved communication, greater trust, and a new vitality. Wear comfortable Yoga clothes and bring a mat.
