Yoga Restore
RASAMAYA RESTORE YOGA is a balance between Yin Flow + Restorative Yoga. The perfect way to recharge your body. A Yin practice opens up the deep, dense, rarely touched tissues of the body. In this class you will hold postures for several minutes at a time to allow the connective tissue and fascia of the body to realign and relax while focusing on the breath, and the mind and body connection. Over time you will enjoy new depths in postures, deeper ranges of motion, and an increased flow of energy that can only be achieved by focusing on the deeper tissues of the body. Yin Yoga is based in the Taoist principals of Yin Philosophy which focuses on slowly stretching the connective tissue passively rather than muscle conditioning. Please note that "passive and slower moving" is not to be confused with "easy and boring." Yin postures can be very dynamic and energetic depending on your body.
